July 2024 Writing Pledge Update (Patreon)

I'm doing a writing pledge post to inform you guys that after a lot of hassle and a lot of sorting through myriad ideas, the script for Bleach episode 32 is finally done, and we have recording sessions all lined up. This season finale will be a huge deal, as it will not only be the entire final Ichigo/Grimmjow encounter, but it will also transition Bleach Abridged into widescreen format as of the beginning of next season's content.

It will also be the first major appearance of Katy Johnson as Orihime, as this episode was written with her in mind for the role. It will also feature several other new actors joining the project to pick up new roles!

That aside, this episode will feature some of the most active content we've made for Bleach Abridged - by that, I mean that since the Ichigo vs. Grimmjow content is so action-packed, it barely manages to stay still, and consequently, this script has more reference footage to match to than any other Bleach episode. We're excited to push the boundaries on what we can do with Bleach in this episode.

Recording sessions will begin popping up on the Patreon, followed by scene previews (it's 8 scenes, but two may be broken up for a total of 10 scenes) as early as tomorrow and into next month. In the meantime, we're also finishing up the UBW:A 12 script.
