On the heels of the unfortunate news from earlier, we thought it would be important to get this up today as well. This is the full SFX pass of the combined scene 2, but also includes Logan's redubbing of Shirou's lines, now that Matthew is no longer able to play the role. The take is different and will never be what Matthew brought to it, but we hope it will find its own footing in the last throes of UBW:A.

There won't be a behind-the-scenes video for the redubbed Shirou lines, but there may be a BTS recording for the scenes that haven't gone up here on Patreon yet.

Lip sync coming soon.

We ask everyone to be patient and sensitive with us during this transition, as it's been hard on us all.

It's unfortunate, especially since this series was almost finished. Still don't mind... honestly when I first started watching 2 years ago, in my head I was kind of wondering if maybe Shiro's voice would change near the end having gained more experiance and maturity. Kind of a his ball dropped moment and now he sounds more like his future self.

To be honest with you, we originally planned a joke from the beginning that was basically going to be that - in the epilogue, when the year timeskip happened, Logan (hi, it's me) was going to take over playing Shirou with a "people are even saying I'm starting to sound like him" joke. Unfortunately, there's no really satisfying way to do that joke now.

😂 maybe there will be a way to hint at it. BTW love your portrayal of Archer.

Not bad on the revoice kinda like it but the one thing that bugs me is that Kiritsugu watches beastwars

I can say I’ve been waiting for this episode since the day the last one came out three years ago, I’m incredibly excited to see updates and that progress is still being made. While I’m sad over the unfortunate news, I think the new voice for Shirou still does a great job! Very excited to hear the finished product! Less derpy, but the derpiness was part of the old VA’s whole thing.
