We continue our exclusive dive into "5 Surprise" territory with KILLER CYBER DINOSAURS and... ADVERTS FOR KIDS? Kind of? This is so weird.

(Also: I put the basic intro on rather than the member exclusive one. But didn't realise until after upload so BUMS TO IT.)

Dino Ball and Advertisement Ball!

I DON'T KNOW I NEVER KNOW

That mystery bottle, 040 is Frank's RedHot! It is a hot sauce used for chicken wings, don't know if they have that over in the UK. And those "tat baubles" remind me of those LOL surprise things Dan Nerdcubed gave you, just with less packaging.

Shadow of Light

For some reason, now I feel like I want to collect all the Shopping Brand items. Thanks, Stuart!

Not Susan.

Why do I like the mini brands?! I think it’s just weird enough to appeal to me.

Lee James

They've released a mini supermarket play set for the shopping brands one.

PsychoDuck

Oddly I kinda like them, too. I have a few myself (Received secondhand from someone less enthused by the concept) and they're nicely made. Also interesting is the ones I have seem to include Canadian-specific branding like a certain brand of bacon bits we have here, so there are indeed regional variants.

Keith James Comics

Those mini brand things would be useful for toy dioramas and dollhouses and such, but man is it an unpleasant product.

Ed Plays Games

I’m definitely considering investing in these to create a collection of Supermarkets decorations.. 😂 I recently went into Poundland in the Old Mall yesterday and their doing a range of ornamental hand symbols 😂 I believe you should have a gander in there 💁🏻😂

Xen Infinity

You CAN get Frank's in the UK, but it's mostly used by TGI Fridays or as a sauce option from Dominos. I've never seen it sold in supermarkets, and the one time I've tried it, I really wasn't impressed with it as a hot sauce - tasted like mildly spicy vinegar.

Voni Lawper

I know others have already said it, but the mini brands stuff would be great for dollhouses. However, paying so much for these people to advertise at your kids? Yikes.

SegaZoom

That dinosaur is just Riptor from Killer Instinct with a gun.

Ashens

I've definitely seen it listed on Dominos in the past. Turns out it's widely available in UK supermarkets!

Karen Leah Quinn

The mini brands remind me of when we used to shrink crisp packets in the oven as kids.

Why Is That Moth Running

Therizinosaurus was sort of the panda of dinosaurs: descended from predators, but was a herbivore which used those claws to grab branches and pull them to within reach of its mouth (similar to the later chalicotheres and the even later giant sloths).

Dan Milner

I am such a sucker for scale items, so those tiny products are kinda cool - including the spam, i'd have them on a keyring!
