I'm not properly announcing this for reasons that will become very obvious as you read on, but at 9pm today UK time (8 hours from this post) I'll be streaming The Man Who Saved the World AKA Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam AKA Turkish Star Wars on my Twitch channel with an intro & commentary with Ed Glaser, the man who sourced the only known remaining 35mm print.

If you're not aware of it... Imagine a completely batshit superhero film that blatantly steals some footage from Star Wars and music from various sources including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Battlestar Galactica and even The Black Hole. The version we're showing is based on a 2K scan of the 35mm film so looks about a million times beter than the old VHS rips that used to do the rounds. Plus the subtitles make sense now!*

Again, for obvious music-copyright reasons I'll have to delete the VOD immediately afterwards, but I'll keep a copy my end and see if I can hide it somewhere on the internet for you guys after if you can't watch live.

*Language-wise. The plot makes no sense and we can't help that.

Not Susan.

I’d love to watch this live but I’ve got an 8 week old baby who seems intent on spoiling everything I want to do. So that would be brilliant if you could find a way that we could watch it on demand.

That sounds like a wonderful mess of a movie I'd love to see, but that is afternoon where I'm at, and I'm still working. Unless I can say I have a Skype meeting for an hour as an excuse to tune in.

I really hope you can find a way to share it. Been at work and have managed to catch a few random scenes from the stream and it looks amazing.

Thanks for streaming it, that was quite the ride!
