The secret of Grumi (Patreon)

You may recall that in the last VHS video, I discovered that Derek's copy of Beverly Hills Cop was apparently taped off the TV - and the label said "Beverly Hills Cop - Grumi". Well, thanks to buying a cheap burner VCR that I don't care about being full of mould, I now know what's on the tape!

It actually starts with Series 1 Episode 6 of the sci-fi sitcom Red Dwarf, Me², then goes into Beverly Hills Cop. When the film was taped it seems that the record button was pressed and it was just left running, because it keeps going afterwards until the tape runs out. Which provides some kind of sports round-up showing football highlights and figure skating.

Sadly we will never know what "Grumi" refers to. Ho hum.
