It is about time Dee jumped back on Infernal Flowers, and to see Tex in her newer style is such a fucking joy. I am so ready to see her rock out with her cock out. Let's see what Dee has to say about her hot demon baby.

She's HERE. I have - begun - the process of gearing back into this project creatively, pen to paper. It was a bigger transition than I expected. The brain juice it takes to key into creativity, when you're out of the habit of it, and switch back into the headspace of a 'great work', or 'passion project' (or, reluctantly... 'magnum opus', because I hate the idea of only ever caring about one project as a 'true project')... is lots of brain juice. So I was feeling a little stumped. I got a single sketch in before realizing I needed to make the worlds most gigantic reference sheet for her, so I spent about 5 hours doing that, before I continued drawing.

I thought to myself, 'what inspired me to draw her in the first place?'.

It was self expression. It was the place I drew my fantasies to escape my life. Tex ended up becoming the masculine, fiery aspects of myself, exaggerated by a million, and she embodied many things I wished I could be. Strong, careless, untouchable. Of course, I also drew a character I wanted to fuck, but I'm going to stop the psychoanalysis there.

I have a lot of love for this character, but I'm excited to have her re-written. I want to thank Miguel, who helped bring her back, and who is now giving the story the attention and depth I wished I always could have given it. And honourable mention also, to all the wondrous people who gave her attention online, and inspired me to keep drawing her, as well as the other characters of Infernal Flowers. You guys rock and I love you. I can only hope that I do it all justice, and overcome the perfectionism enough to finish this. 🙇‍♀️
