'25 Yearly Roundup: Two Years of Lust Incarnate Comics, Big Milestones, and plenty of Faith! (Patreon)
Content
It once was a monthly thing, then it got relegated to a yearly thing.
That may change, but until then...
ROUNDUP TIME!
It's been a year, eh?
Plenty of milestones for us to remember and cherish, and a statement to the supportive and caring community that we've nurtured for two years now. Time flies when you're having fun.
Androids Who Dream Launch! (Pre-Orders sold out, couple of print runs, and much love)
Androids Who Dream was such a fun project to work on, and to see it grow last year was a phenomenal feeling, and then, we released the physical version. Holy shit.
With pre-orders, the launch, run-of-the-mill shop sales and a huge event (ThoughtBubble) later, it means that we have sold 300+ physical and 170+ digital copies... what?
It's just been loved so immensely by so many people. I mean, Stytch and RIXA even got fanart, for crying out loud.
This book is very special to us, and even if we are now actively working on Infernal Flowers, it is absolutely not the end of this story. Trust us--we can't wait to be back in the world of Androids Who Dream heh.
Infernal Flowers is back, baby! (A much loved Dee 'Duski' Loveless classic)
Infernal Flowers is a much-beloved comic authored by Dee a couple years ago, but as soon as those character hit the internet, they made an impression.
When Dee and I started brainstorming on stories and comics ideas, before even Lust Incarnate Comics was formed, she expressed a deep desire to revisit Infernal Flowers at some point, either alone or with me. It's a very personal project to her, so I always wanted to approach it respectfully, especially because I too am attached to those characters. In writing up Otto for this "reboot", even my own gender identity was explored, so you can tell it's an important project for us both by now.
While we might not be moving as fast as we'd like with Infernal Flowers--collaborations, commissions and life as a whole tugging and pulling us away from it continuously--we are committed to explore and finish it the only way we know how: unapologetically and wholeheartedly. We are so excited.
This is set out to be longer than Androids Who Dream, and we're even floating around the idea of getting it Kickstarted with some extra goodies. Wooooo!
Our first convention outing: ThoughtBubble '25 (An incredible experience)
ThoughtBubble '25 was our inaugural attendance not only to TB but to conventions as a whole--and we are so happy with how it went, my God.
The love and support from fans that knew us and folks that didn't was unparalleled. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sami, who drew the AWD fanart, even dropped by to gift it to us. That made my entire year.
We also met other artists, both people who didn't know and now are obsessed with, and incredible artists that we've admired for years who came by and chatted with us. I even got to say hi to one of my favourite YouTubers since I was a kid--which was fucking surreal, so there you are.
One of my favourite anecdotes about the entire convention however, didn't even happen at the convention. It was when Dee casually picked jalapeños as one of her burger toppings at Five Guys at nearly died. Got her spice-loving ass humbled.
Immortal Blood, our collab with TheSmuttyRogue went live (Sexy, soft and Gothic)
Immortal Blood landed with much love as we made revealed it with TheSmuttyRogue earlier this year. We shared some awesome concept art pieces and soon got to share pages! It'll be a short and sweet run, counting 12-pages, but do not let the length dissuade you from its quality: it'll be amazing.
TheSmuttyRogue has been a friend and supporter of Dee for a couple of years, and this collaboration was something we were excited about actually conceptualising, and now that it's hitting its stride... we couldn't be happier.
Love & Circuitry getting closer to Launch! (An achievement with SensualStroke)
Love & Circuitry had its cover reveal this month, after a few months since the final comic page was shared. It's been such a beautiful journey to go on with SensualStroke: we were huge fans of her work before, and when the opportunity to work with her was there, we didn't hesitate.
We also released some stickers this year which we are all very proud of, so be sure to check them out. It won't be the last merch drop from this collab, just so you know...
Wandering Shade nearing its conclusion! (A slow yet scorching hot burn)
Wandering Shade has been a fun project to explore with MissMajored; Shade and Kelik are such fun characters, both visually and narratively. We are only a couple of pages away from the conclusion, so stay tuned!
There's some awesome stickers that we also released this year for Wandering Shade, and we'd all love for you to maybe get them while we have a sale out... hihi.
An Eldritch Love Affair is good enough to be obsessed over (For all the monster fuckers)
An Eldritch Love Affair, while sporting a pinch of horror, is among the sexiest collabs we currently have going on. BunnyBones is incredible, and her style is perfect for a story like this. Each page is better than the last, and the stuff we got in store for you is... something else, that's for sure.
We also have some fun merch concepts coming out soon, just in case you were wondering when you'll be able to showcase your love for this collab heh.
What 2026 is bound to bring us (A couple of new collabs, comic launches, and more)
We have yet to announce our newest collabs--what, you thought we were done?! One collab will be announced in January, with pages coming out as early February; and another collab is early in its concept stages, with an artist we actually met at ThoughtBubble... how fucking awesome is that?
Love & Circuitry is set to be released (hopefully) in January, but life has a taste for getting in the way, but we're keeping our fingers crossed regardless. We hope that Wandering Shade follows suit, maybe in Q2 2026.
New merch, exciting beats in our stories, more in-person events and only the Gods know what else: we are super excited to go into 2026, knowing that we are far from done with doing what we love.
Here's to another year of experiencing our art together, and all the lives we have lived together. Your support and love means everything to us--we won't be able to do what we do without all of you here with us; we never take you for granted, and I reckon that shows in our craft and efforts.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, caged within this Reincarnatum contraption: we are exactly where we want to be.
See you next year. <3
