So if her mom was 85, how old was Kanesha previously? I feel like she would have to have been in her 40s. But yes love how the mental transformation happened in conversation and not overnight. It will be interesting to see what this nurse does. As no way in that town is a nurse NOT connected to one of the power players.

Also is she a senior in high school? I don't know of any colleges with school busses like that and uniforms. Is it a British thing to call what is thought of as the last part of high school college?

They have buses for rural areas over here and those who stay on at school are called 6th formers, it is a 2 year college course that covers 2 years and is for those who do not get in at university… Feethams covers all the grades, but like Kemp, I only ever cover the final year of their education... :)
