The Wandering Talespinner

ROD SERLING VOICE: The Ballacombs. A down-trodden mother, and a self-indulgent daughter. Unknowingly wrapped up in the ever-consuming vortex of a Divine Sisterhood, they now dissolve into humiliating new lives with no idea that such behaviors had been forced upon them. No different from any of the karmically-affected citizens...of the Twilight Zone. ;)

No, I got it. But I'm saying that 'Mary' - the newly minted 58 year old prostitute - doesn't consider herself 'humiliated' by her life, and the girl she had been doesn't 'technically' exist anymore. I suppose it would depend on the existence of an unaltered 'soul' or not. Some kernel of the old identity that still remembered. If this was just magic, I'd say 'sure', but I'm pretty sure these memory alterations are more technological than magical. Or...maybe a mix of both?

Barford Files 3 is being worked on as I type this. :) Expect C&M 3 sometime next year, and once Kesh is done playing with Tamara in her stories. :D Barford 3 will be loosely based on the 1980s movie version of the Scott Spencer book "Endless Love"(the version with Brooke Shields and Martin Hewitt). :)
