Hello dear Heroes Infinite Supporter,

These are exciting times !!

Did you know that we launched our own subscription and cloud storage platform last month? And about 2000 of you have left Patreon and moved over to HeroesInfinite.com !!!

Wow, the launch was quite something!

You guys swamped us right in the first few minutes of the launch and now more than half of you have already made the jump from Patreon to HeroesInfinite.com !!!

Why do it?

Well, there are many reasons but first, see what other delighted Heroes Infinite Supporters have to say:

(Oh, and keep reading to see what super cool perks we have for you on HeroesInfinite.com for next month, just after the testimonials…)

“I love the new independent service app! My other stl sources make tracking hard, because information is split between web stores and the clumsy Patreon postings, but yours is in one, easy-to-use app. An unexpected bonus is that the pictures let me browse the models I own, which makes planning my print projects so much easier!” - Andrew Schulz
“If I could abandon Patreon for all the creators I back I’d be happy. The more that leave that platform the better IMO. So glad to see a proper library of content available now! No more FOMO at the end of the month when I remember I haven’t downloaded it yet.” - Paul Howie
“The site looks great! Am excited to be a member for times to come. It's good to have all the files available at one place with a clean layout. Thank you for all the hard work!”  - Kristian Higham
“Completely seamless transition. I like the site and I like not having to worry about keeping track of when files are updated and to be downloaded again.  BTW, thank you Heroes Infinite team. You all have done great work and when I have had questions or problems, you have helped out quickly and efficiently” -Jason Heady

Ready for a new world of goodness?...

To complete your switch to HeroesInfinite.com, you’ll just have to click on the button down below.

But wait…
It is like with the Gremlins!
There are 3 rules you should NEVER break !!!
They are super simple and they will make your switchover a breeze:
You’ll have to use the same email address on HeroesInfinite.com as the one you were using with us on Patreon (otherwise we won’t be able to match your account and you could drift into the Abyss for eternity!)
You’ll need your coupon code and you’ll need to click on the Apply Coupon button to make it work (we tell you how to get the coupon once you start the subscribing process)
To make sure you’re not billed twice (once on Patreon and once on HeroesInfinite) you’ll have to unsubscribe from our Patreon page (we tell you how to do that on the other side)
What are the 3 rules...???
Can you repeat them...????
“Use the SAME email address, APPLY the coupon code and UNSUBSCRIBE from Patreon!!”
OK Warrior, now you are ready to jump to the other side!!!

And don’t worry, if you have any problem, just contact us and we’ll fix it with a quick magic spell...

-- I'm ready now, I want in! --
“I'm switching over to the new website, and stopping Patreon for Heroes Infinite! Having access to a backlog is awesome.” - Andrew Macleod
“I am happy that you offered the new website and a place to download my figures. Many thanks again for your kindness and also for the great work of the team behind Heroes Infinite. Greetings and best wishes” - Rolf

All our previous releases and Loyalty Rewards are currently being uploaded on the website and are planned to be available in our HeroesInfinite.com members library by the end of the month. The work is being done quietly behind the scenes, and we’ll switch everything on all at once for you.

We’re also creating a Community Forum exclusive to our members directly on HeroesInfinite.com so you can interact, exchange and help each other in your 3D printing adventure.

Access to Discord is also coming, so you’ll soon be able to regain access to our channel.

-- Ok, I want to go there! --
“I like the platform so much, I switched from Patreon as soon as I saw the above email. I look forward to the ongoing excellence in Heroes Infinite and want to thank the whole team for their hard work - plus, the Dark Elves look spectacular!” - Becki Bridge
-- I want in! --

Ok, that’s all for today, allow us to finish on a simple testimonial that warms our heart :)

Dear Heroes Infinite team
I love you.
that is all

“Why do it? Well, there are many reasons…” care to go in to the many reasons that you’ve not really listed ? ‘cus this just looks like a sales pitch with no real explanation as to why.

so does this save you, the creator, money by doing it yourself by avoiding Patreon ? ‘cus you could’ve just said that as well n it’d be clear n cool. you’ve been alluding to this transition for a while, with word of reasons as to why you do not want to use Patreon, but i haven’t seen why… unless i missed the full explanation post ?

Hi, If connected to Patreon with Google account and not with a direct email address, will the new website recognize the email address from the Google account?

HeroesInfinite
>>68013201

use the same email as your Google account and I expect we'll find you that way, as we have email addresses for all our patrons

Victor Jalencas

this is the first time I hear about your platform being ready, yet 2000 people are already using it. How did this people get privileged information? are there second-rate supporters?

We are Patreon backers ourselves for other creators, and the experience we have as customers of the Patreon platform is far from great. This is one of the reasons we decided to create our own platform: because Patreon has so many shortcomings in terms of its functionalities for our patrons that we wanted to offer them something much more efficient and user friendly. As project creator, Patreon’s superheated back-office interface is a pain to work with and does not allows us to serve you properly. We didn’t think it was necessary to harp on this because we don’t want to play a nagging game with Patreon, but basically, all the benefits you see listed for using Heroes Infinite are stuff you cannot have on Patreon. Some of you can see this move as a way for us to make more money, but saving money simply means being able to grow our team and serve you better. Also developing a platform of this scale takes a lot of time and a lot of money. I see that you have been with us for only one month, so you may not have a full grasp of all the Patreon's shortcomings. We are offering an alternative because we deeply think we can offer you guys a much better experience, which is what the people who have already made the move are saying. However, we are not leaving Patreon and you are free to continue using it to access HeroesInfinite models or to move to HeroesInfinite.com and enjoy a much better experience. But you still have the choice.

Heavens NO! Here's how it happened: the initial post was a "backer-only" post au August 28. If you were a backer in August, you might simply have missed the notification. We did not make that first post public to everyone because we wanted to make sure we could handle the flow of questions and be certain that the platform was stable for the transition into the new month, so we reserved the initial entry to the backers that were with us in August. But EVERYONE is WELCOME!!! You can click on the "Hosted Files" tag below this post, which will show you today's post as well as that original one. Or you can go directly there: https://www.patreon.com/posts/we-told-you-we-55414466

Hi, Well to answer your question. I have not switched and never will because I like to have all my files in one place. That place in MMF. right now I'm fine with subscribe every now and then because your on Patreon witch is like a secondary main platform but with you locking away content on your site, this will properly my last month. It's the same reason why I never subscribed to loot studios. I understand why you do it. It allows you take a bigger share of the money and it streamlines your upload and distribution work. But for me, as a consumer, I prefer not to have 10 different sites, apps or whatever. So, conclusion, good luck with this next chapter in your company and maybe untill another time.

HeroesInfinite
>>68015980

I understand what you are saying. However, you need to know that currently, MMF owes us several months’ worth of sales that we’ve been chasing without getting any results from them. It has happened other times in the past, and we know that we are not the only creators that had to face this situation. We run into the same kind of issues in terms of responsiveness for customers who purchase our files, or whenever we need assistance or changes in putting our own files online. Needless to say, these issues also affect you as a customer. So, have we said above concerning Patreon, we don’t like to throw other companies under the bus, but we face issues since the beginning with MMF. Now, imagine you are in our situation, and you had to wait for your files for 3 or 4 months… How would you feel?

Jon Parker

There seems to be a glitch on heroes infinite.com where you can not ‘see’ your subscription after you opted in there. I’d thought I’d done it when I first opened the account, but on subscriptions tab, it only shows the available tiers etc - nothing about what you have signed up for.

Wouter Kwant
>>68015980

If it is as big a problem as you say it is, why don't all of you creators put your heads together and make a competitor together. That way everything one place and you help other creators and don't leave them in the dust. Kinda like how Linus media setup there own YouTube competitor to help not only themself but also other creators

Wouter Kwant
>>68015980

Because I can at least assume that between you, artisan guild, titanforge, loot studios and archvillan there must be enough funds to create a amazing new site where you all can upload. I believe most of you already atlas supports so this would make you all even more unified. I love the idea of all you mini patrons joining hands and creating a miniture STL site where there is one big unified community.

Charles-John Roscoe Jenerou

So far, so good. I'm fine with a creator going with a self owned platform, and since I've had a good experience with them so far, even as far as them getting me access to my files again after my original harddrive died, I'm fine with moving over. They've answered any questions I had so far, and in a very timely matter. I do get other people having the hang ups on wanting to move over, and understand for all of us it's a personal decision.

Hi, you should have received a confirmation email with a receipt with all the information regarding your subscription. If you haven't received that email, I can resend it to you. Raphaelle

So... here's my 2c You've finally told us (above) why you didn't just give us MMF links as a backup like many of us have been begging for. They owe you money, and are being difficult about it. Now really, was it so damn hard just to say that? It's not throwing someone under the bus when they're screwing you over... it's just being HONEST and saying it like it is. Many of us would have been less unhappy and going on about it, if you had just said so from the start. LEARN FROM THAT please. All of the above reasons to join sound good... especially bonus extras. That said... Some reasons not to join: - No place to voice concerns/opinions on there, (like I'm writing right now) ... and even when you put it in (I hear it was a planned feature to add later), you have total control over the site. We've seen it time and time again in the past where some company completely censors all the negative traffic on their site, so that everything looks just fine. - Yet another place to login to etc. While yes, it may be a perfect system, but indeed, it's just yet another thing to have an account for etc. It's nice having all my 3d print artists here, on patreon (and mostly on MMF). Now... if your site became open to other artists, and we had lots migrate out to that instead (as you're right, patreon isn't perfect... is clunky in places... has no redemption etc), then that's obviously a different matter. MMF has just started this too with their TRIBES system... (urgh...), but at least it's still connected to the same MMF account I haven't entirely made up my mind yet either way

CountsAsMinis

Will we be able to only subscribe to certain months and still maintain our account and access during the non-subbed months? Or is it only maintain access while subscribed?

K Vector
>>68054781

I'd like to know as well. Part of the draw for MMF was the ability to have all my Patreon files in one spot w/o having to pay for that access. If I can get an account on this new website and access all the previous months I backed without paying for or subscribing to anything, and then have the choice of supporting (or not) in a given month, then that would make it a website worth using.

GraeyscaleDoes
>>68054781

It's very important to me that we get an answer to this, and if you want my money, that answer needs to be yes

Philobat

Can you make your posts 500 words or less?

Corey Hagopian

so to be clear, if I were to switch... I have been a backer since the beginning... when you say, "Access all your Heroes Infinite files safely stored in one place on the cloud, accessible forever, and know that your files will always be updated with the latest fixes whenever needed" Does this mean I will have access to ALL the files I have been a supporter of (since day 1) so I don't have to keep spending local storage for the files?

Narrator Dave

Haven't sat down and made the time to do it but will eventually

John Pope

In addition to what Werner said above, I also only sub as needed when the month is an item I want - it's not clear your site will allow that.

HeroesInfinite
>>68141230

Hi Corey, the answer is YES! On HeroesInfinite.com, you will have access to all the files you've been supporter of and paid on Patreon in your library.

HeroesInfinite
>>68054781

Hi, if you unsubscribe from HeroesInfinite.com at any point in the future, you will still have access to your account and to all the files in your library. But if you switch back to Patreon, all the releases you will subscribe to on Patreon (after unsubscribing from HeroesInfinite.com) won't appear in your library on HeroesInfinite.com.

David Watts

I switched and just ended my pledge here. So I won’t be able to see anything you post here anymore unless they are posts that you don’t have to be a paying patreon to see. I’m just curious about the wizards in winter thing you had on MMF I backed as well as other things I purchased from MMF of yours. Will those eventually be available on your site as well?

Piotr Adamiak

I am a bit tired of everyone tryingto reinvent the wheel by building their own Patreon like subscription websites. Why should I move to yet another and remember that too? I already have at least a dozen accounts for various 3D STL files hosting services so adding another one is essentially crazy for me. I have also not seen any responses from you about making the lives of your supporters easier by linking your MMF releases to the users MMF accounts for the months they supported you. To be fair, over the last few months I ghad massive problems with your download files and really don't understand why you can't offer a similar level of quality like your competition does by syncing our MMF acconts. Please understand we often support several artists and if you are a business that number can easily be in the dozens. We need MMF support

Donna Crawford

I'm afraid I'd never keep up with posts on other platforms, so hopefully we won't miss out if we prefer to stay here. I have so little time away from work this feed is about my max.

Ashley Beech

just subscribed but between doing different things didnt see the bit about the code and got billed 2x for september.

Atieno

just subscribed on the other site and cancelled my subscription here. catch you all on the flip.

Kristie Kreature FX

Stupid question but if we have been a member for 6+ months will we have access to our previous months through the website? I’ve missed a few months of downloads with work and family illness :(

Christen Sowards

I haven't received the password email yet but it has been much longer than an hour?

virtualmorrigan

The past months seem to be available by now on their own site, the loyalty rewards are not. Comments can be made under specific models, but there is no forum or general place to give feedback. Do with this information whatever you think right.

virtualmorrigan
>>68473471

I think at this point it is very clear that there will never be MMF support since there is extra cost involved and they want to keep it in-house rather than go for a solution the customer wants.

Gregory Buchs

If I join your site I must pay in $ but my actual currency is € so my bank take a good amount of fees for that change… On Patreon i can pay in euro, so i will stay here
