I was so happy how smooth everything went so far. The print is great, the material used is super high quality and the glueing and cutting tests were also super successful. Look how beautiful they look!

So I glued everything and started cutting today so they can go out to you this week.

But after the first cuts I realised that the edges are peeling off a tiny bit. Which they didn’t in my initial test. Now I am afraid that they will fall apart when you guys use them in play. I realised that I changed the black paper last minute. Which was a stupid thing to do. I reviewed the test tokens with the original paper choice and they are still perfect even after a week of sitting there.

So the only solution is now to make new ones with the original black paper. Lesson learned.

I know that is annoying for you because that means the shipping will be postponed again, but I want the best quality for you. I want you to be part of this process so I am sharing all the ups and downs here with you. It’s an adventure and it is exciting since it is uncharted territory for me. And that is always super fun, even if it is frustrating sometimes, but that’s the magic of testing new things! And you guys make it possible for me to experiment with this!

Since this is taking a lot longer than expected, I am thinking of maybe shipping the dragon and the vampire together. Beginning of April.

I will keep you updated and let you know tomorrow what the status is.

I will happily love and cherish the ones that are peeling as well. Was planning to sleeve the tokens so that will help keep them safe!

Thank you! I will see how they react when I let them sit there for today and come back to them tomorrow. If it turns out it will be just a few edges then it should be fine. I guess everybody will sleeve them. And that should fix it. Let’s see how they look tomorrow.

Thank you for your transparency! These things happen. Looking forward to the finished product!
