I am still thinking about a cool image for the next Nachthunger verse. And I think I have it now. The knight will meet a ferryman who offers him a save passage over the mirror lake.

The question will be: when to pay the ferryman. Before, after or half way. The old dilemma.

Here are some sketches for the ferry. Since it is the eye world it is made from flesh and floating eyeballs are guarding the boat.
