The first image (the traditional one) is made with a wide flat brush (ca. 4cm) The digital painting is made with different brushes I collected over the time. I can't share them right now, since they are not mine. But I am working on a brushset. So that should be out soon! I will keep you guys updatet. You will be the first ones here to get it!
