When in the Katie route I repeatedly try to give Wifey the trait so that when asked about being interested in girls she replies that she is. Your guide mentions that it would be taken care of in her choices over the Christmas scene. I have tried every which way and still she doesn't have the necessary "hedonistic trait" to allow her to bbe anything but "hesitant".

You can press "shift+o":, then type this: wifeytraithedonist=1. However, I assure you there's no bug and it is completely doable. If you follow the guide you should get it.
