My Last Memory - Timelapse (Patreon)

I've slowed down with my personal illustrative work over the past 2 or so years, focusing on freelance work fulltime. I'm really happy when I do have the inspiration to make a piece - this one I actually had sitting in my files since... Feb 1 2023 according to Procreate!! it went through a few changes, starting with the idea of a very bright blue sky and yellow grass. What took me so long though was the struggle of how I wanted to depict the figure in the piece. It wasn't until the end of working on this I completely change the colors and mood. The dark deep blue had more of a surreal, playful feeling, while the new colors are more dreamlike, elegant. Some of my more recent pieces before this lean more surreal so something more dreamy was needed.
