While I was reviewing some of my January requests I thought to myself my design process and wrote them down! This is something I would love to do in the future with future design requests. I also hope it can be useful as design tips

Thank you so much for taking time to go over these! I really enjoy hearing about artists' processes and it's a lot of fun, as well as a learning experience, to read what kinds of thoughts go into your design work. Reading through these breakdowns struck me curious about your work as a whole. As you're both a designer and an artist, it would be so very interesting to hear about your work in some form of "artist talk" or maybe a mini patreon presentation ahah. I've seen you post blurbs before on your toyhouse bulletins (and enjoyed them greatly) but would LOVE to hear more about you, your inspirations, beginnings, what you love to make and why, have you tried other mediums & so on!

These are wonderful! The unicorn notes especially. It's always fun picking certain traits from real species to end up incorporating. I love donkey dorsal stripes. The wiki page for primitive horse markings is really fun to go through

I'm so glad I picked up on the lush vibes for the epaulette shark! (I named them Lush hehe!) Their design is so so refreshing and wonderful. Epaulettes are one of my favorite sharks, I worked with them a lot at my job at the aquarium in long beach and I wanted to dedicate a character to represent my time there. Also, it's super cool to see your thoughts on designs! I wonder about your process as it seems to come so naturally to you, it's very inspiring to see it written out ^^
