hi! i’m amelie, a fairly new fan! i live in australia so due to timezones i usually can’t watch any of the livestreams :( but i’d still love to contribute! so would it be possible to run some games where you choose prompts from an earlier post asking for ideas, rather than ones from the livestream chat? (i know this might defeat the purpose of the “zero preparation time” idea, but you could maybe make a post on patreon a few hours later asking for prompts and then only check the comments while on stream?) just a suggestion, but i’ll love whatever you do — thanks for sharing, AJ! 🤍

Hey friends - I’m a new-ish patreon, I think it was like early August I joined after binging TikTok, booking tickets for the Edinburgh fringe and then realising you had a patreon 😂 loved seeing you guys live! I like the idea of these little video check ins every so often & I do love the q&a type stuff mainly because I am inherently nosy! Something that could be kinda fun and slightly inspired by Sam’s desire to get back to his jigsaw on the last livestream is if you ever wanted to do like an extended livestream playing games - ones like chameleon, blockbusters and the 30 second showdown ones from big potato (I promise I don’t work for them lol) spring to mind which are super fun to just watch other people play especially comedians - case in point the lovely board games series on YouTube! (Would recommend ep2)

The first thing I watched was the YouTube video of change with AJ and Luke where they're at a senior's home back in June. Since then, I've created a tiktok account (I only follow SFTH), joined an intro improv class, have a plan to enroll for beginner's foundation next term, booked and attended local improv shows, watched and rewatched SO MUCH of your content, laughed my buttock off each time, and made a video after YEARS of not making a video. You guys really imprinted yourselves in my life and I'm so thankful and happy and amazed by it. You guys have a SUPERPOWER and it's creating a space, a moment, where spirits can be lifted, burdens melt, and support, laughter, and comfort are abundant. That's how I feel when I see you on my screen. Also I stepped out of my comfort zone and it was fun and I want more of it. I love being a patreon member, I love seeing this little video, thank you AJ! I love watching your talent and wit on stage, in warm up games, at your homes, from the podcast booth, anywhere really. My faves are the short sketches (household Olympics, Pinnochio and Geppetto, patriarchy board game), the plays(!!), one word a time warmups, and the one where you recreated a couple's first date. I feel like a FAQ page would be great so we can keep track of the answers. I feel like interaction between the patreons and opening doors for the community is something I want more of. This video and the Who are our lookalike post was great and it was nice seeing others' replies. I feel like you guys are kind for asking what we want more of so thank you for that! I feel like you guys are ace at sporadic, like AJ was in public transit, so yes more sporadic things would be great. Whatever you feel you want to do, you do, and whenever you feel like it.
