Release is getting closer!!! Updated win/lose, loot screens!!! (Patreon)

Good health, dear Cossacks!!! It’s been two weeks since the last post – a huge amount of work has been done in that time.
At last, we have not only the logic and the GUI, but also a working combat cycle! There was a fierce battle with the Ren'py engine over many things, but we have come out victorious. Although not in every area, overall we have achieved good results. So, here’s what’s been done:
A combat cycle integrated with Ren’py
Animations added for action cards and item cards
Win/lose screen
Loot screen after battle
Logic checks for card usage
Messages explaining why cards cannot be used
Numerical displays for damage, healing, recovery, etc.
Player inventory linked to battle inventory
WHAT'S LEFT. This week we should finish work on effects, ultimate abilities (animations), and card bug testing, and move on to implementing enemy combat behaviour. In other words, once the final technical issues are resolved, we’ll start adding enemies and prepare for release. And yes, at the moment, the poor Lacrua thug in the video is nothing more than a punching bag :). Of course, there’s also the audio component, but in this regard we’ve already got some stuff in place from the first version.
Look out for news next week. I think we’ll soon be delighted to announce the release :). Hopefully, there won’t be any more technical hiccups like the ones that held us up for two weeks. The main thing is that the worst of the development nightmare is behind us! Thanks for your attention!!! Budmo!!! Stand with Ukraine!!!
P.S. We owe you so much that we feel it’s only fair to share more and more about the development process, so you can see the progress for yourselves! Sorry we couldn’t keep you in suspense until the very end!
