POV: A gentle voice reminds you to be kind to the adult you, and the little you that still exists within you. It is not your fault you were hurt. You deserve kindness, always. - A warning that this might be triggering for some. I've tried to record this over the last 2-3 years but was always unsuccessful. Being in therapy for the last year has helped me to process my own trauma enough to get through an audio like this and hopefully I can make more comforting content like I used to. I think these audios can be so powerful and important. We all need to hear these words sometimes. Inside all of us are past versions of ourselves that will stay with us forever, it's important to recognise each of them and give them the safety & love they always deserved. Words from the script author to inform on trigger points: " This Script is written as a kind voice hoping to guide you into being kind to your imagined 'inner child'. This is written for those who might've experienced Emotional, Verbal or Physical abuse from adults in their life.

It is merely a casual exercise in encouraging self-care & kindness. For proper therapeutic practices, please seek a trauma informed therapist, also if you ever experienced any kind of emotional or physical abuse or neglect, I would highly recommend the book "CPTSD: Surviving to Thriving" by Pete Walker to help take steps towards self healing.

Potentially triggering phrases are left vague, written as:

- "No one has the right to grab/strike/raise a hand to harm you"

- This Script does not mention anything sexual in nature. Nor is it "age play"." - Script: Shy_Katsu Audio: Dreams of Peaches

As someone with potential c-PTSD, this audio has already eased my heart. Thank you Peaches, I can’t wait to listen, you’re a god-send to this world 🤍 I pray Healing and love comes your way

That’s very sweet of you do make this. Especially with how hard it’s been for you due to past trauma. I don’t have any PTSD of abuse but I feel this will be something wonderful and reassuring to listen to, hope this helps those who have had bad past experiences in their childhood. Thank you as always Peaches for going all out for us and continuing to make wonderful audios. ❤️🥺

Coming from someone who struggles with PTSD every day. Truly thank you so much for making a safe space for this, and your book recommendations <3 it hurts at some points but so reassuring and truly feeling like a safe space. Thank you peachy for all that you do

This was so reassuring to listen to. I don't have any PTSD of any kind, but I do struggle to be kind to that inner child so hearing those gentle words from an equally gentle voice was comforting. Thank you Peaches for making such a lovely audio for those who have similar experiences to you. I can only imagine how difficult it was for you to record this, so well done. Excellent work as always Peaches!♥️

Oh... oh we're just fully breaking me today, huh Peaches? This is literally what I'm working on in therapy right now and, I know this is going to both hit me straight in the cPTSD heart and that is a good thing. The safe space you have created both in general online and in this audio is incredible, and I'm glad you feel at a point in your own mental health journey that you are able to record these kinds of audios. You are incredible. Thank you 💚🥹

I needed this. I suffer from cPTSD after an abusive relationship, and it’s haunted me for almost a decade. This audio made me cry harder than I have in a long time. This sort of work is why you’ll have my support for life, Peaches. You have my sword, always.

Even though I don't *think* I have childhood trauma, this was still very soothing and healing for me. Your gentle voice provides a perfect safe space to relax, and your words of reassurance feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders. Thank you so much for this, Peaches. 💜🫂

This hits hard in some way, just nothing major. But it still hurts. And it feels like I never got the reassurance that I needed to fix how I think about myself…until now. Thank you for providing what I needed from that experience. This means everything to me 💜🫂

Okay did anyone else have to stop this audio because they couldn't deal with how it made them feel, or was that just me?

Merjia

I will be returning to this one over and over. I’ve only begun to unpack my internalised trauma and CPTSD from a lifetime of feeling unsafe and invisible. All the love for you Peaches, always. ❤️🩷

I was quite hesitant to actually listen to this one after reading the tags alone. But I gave it a lot of thought with seeing a lot of the growth I’ve done in my life with certain events growing up. Can’t lie the first 5 seconds I was already in tears lol.. But thank you for being the sunshine voice tonight in my mind full of grey skies sometimes. Wonderful audio Peaches. 💚

Some of your words really hit close to home. It was really comforting to hear your voice reassure what I've been trying to tell myself for so long. Thank you so much for this. ❤️

KingofFans19

I started crying less than a minute in. I think I really needed this. Your words are exactly what I needed to hear. I can't thank you enough.

SuperGent

This is so sweet and soothing. I'm glad those who have CPTSD can listen to this and be comforted by your voice, hearing exactly what they need to, what they deserve. Fantastic work.

I really needed to hear this. Many tears that needed to be let out were released. Thanks for making this and the work you did to be able to.
