How long does it usually take you to finish a piece with color and background?

well depends on the style, but maybe if could add all the hours i work straight without interruptions can go from 16 - 24 hours (i'm too slow)

Same here. It takes me roughly the same time to finish a piece, longer when I'm exhausted from work. One of my biggest regrets in life was not learning to illustrate when I had a lot free time.

Since you draw everything by hand how do you do something with different versions, like the Gaen Tooe one where her head is at different angles? You didn't redraw the entire thing, did you?

well not exactly all in the final, but in the sketches yes i did redraw averythign again and did the changes, but is not necesary you can just work on the areas that moved and digitally you just add that one is easier but if you are strictly tradtional you have to redraw everything again
