YOU&! was made in 5 weeks (while co-parenting a few-week-old newborn) for the Toxic Yuri 2 game jam. We had to cut quite a bit of content to get the game out in time, which unfortunately means some foreshadowing, character development and context were lost in the process.

The theme of the jam was 'psychosexual trauma', and we combined that with our personal experiences and beliefs that two things can be true at the same time. None of these characters are good, kind people, but if you can empathise with them or even care about them, we have achieved what we set out to do.

We intend to add the scenes that were cut from scope to the game, post-jam. It will add roughly 20-30% more content and be available to all Lieutenant+ patrons. If there is enough interest, we'll also continue developing the game to include two additional love interests, each with a unique story arc to explore. This will also be available to all Lieutenant+ patrons.
