Whoa– It’s Friday again. I woke up this morning convinced it was Thursday, so I guess: Happy Friday?
Other than having to adjust for the day I somehow missed, it’s been a decent week. Work is work, the kids are alive, healthy and happy, and my wife and I still enjoy each other’s company when we aren’t exhausted or circling a stress-induced nervous breakdown, so… Yeah. All in all, it’s going well.
I did a monthly recap last week, and we have a poll where you can vote for the scene you want included in our monthly release. I’ve proactively started working on the Lochem scene since it’s the one in the lead. The poll closes in a few hours, so if you haven’t voted yet, you can still do so.
We’re also going to AGF 2026 (Adult Game Festival 2026, hosted by Utherverse) at the end of this month. It’s entirely virtual and online, so no matter where you are in the world, you can pop in and say hi. Festival passes are usually $19.99, but we’re working on getting complimentary tickets for all Patrons (even free followers, if we manage to pull it off!). You need to create a free account and download a game client to access the event. The client feels a bit dated and has serious ‘Second Life’ nostalgia vibes. It’s also the first time we’re doing a virtual convention, so we’ll see.
Back to Infinite Stars… I’ve mentioned a while back that once we wrap up the Season One story, we’ll probably circle back and redo the intimate scenes with CG’s at a minumum, and even some animations if internal resources allow. (I don’t want to hype this, as it’s still a while off, I’m just sharing what my thoughts are.) Same goes for the player portraits. I want to touch them up and actually have them change expressions in the game instead of being static. It’s entirely doable, but it’s a huge time investment.
Anyways, I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Be safe and be the kindness you want to see in the world.
