- Spring Update - (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I had a bit of trouble the csv Patreon lets you download for polls as it didn't have the vote totals shown onsite, and so I waited longer than I wanted to make this post, but about 10 didn't load. Fortunately the ratios seem to be the same so it might be a glitch.

It's been a bit since I dropped an update. So with the poll finally closed I can tally the results, and give some insights for what that means for the rest of spring and going into summer. First let's get started with the poll results. They were really close in a lot of ways so I'm actually going to show them as groupings based on the number of votes if that makes sense, and then list our top 3 species for total votes.

Top 5 Pairings

• 1st Place (21 votes):

  • Werewolf/Weredog / Gay-Bi Male-led

• 2nd Place (13 votes):

  • Hyena / Gay-Bi Male-led

• 3rd Place (12 votes):

  • Werewolf/Weredog / Straight Male-led

  • Werewolf/Weredog / Straight Female-led

  • Pig / Gay-Bi Male-led

• 4th Place (11 votes):

  • Skunk / Gay-Bi Male-led

  • Bovine / Gay-Bi Male-led

• 5th Place (9 votes):

  • Rat / Gay-Bi Male-led

  • Ape / Straight Female-led

So not a huge gulf between the 2nd and 5th place, with 1st the runaway victor.

  Our top 3 species were:

1. Wolves/Canines

2. Skunks

3. Rats

Skunk was a surprise for 2nd. I hadn't expected it to pass hyena so easily, but even then there's a clear love for the canines across the board. Can't blame you really, haha.

For gender and orientation, It was interesting to see Intersex just barely beating out straight-female for second place. With them having a familiar gap between them and First place.

So with all this tallied up, what's going to be the play?

While I have my own ideas for what I want to do for the near term, the results if anything is asking for more canines. It makes me really happy the first romps with Envy and Sloth hit the mark. I'm still having a lot of fun ideating out the SpungeRot arc, but I've thankfully reached a point where the storyline is planned out far enough where I can write the stories and do more with Vivari and Wolfhart and ideate something new.

So obviously, I'm working on another gay werewolf story and will explore some others but I can't say how much it'll contribute to the overarching plot right now. I'm also going to push on an intersex rat tf story I've had outlined for awhile. It won't be a Rat Rot story, but it might still come after one. Finally, with skunks so high, I'm going to pitch ideas for some skunk stories that I can explore.

What I'm working on now is a Twisted Tails story and a SpungeRot story, one of which should be posted soon. Hyenas will take a minor backseat outside of a possible commission, but I'm building out Sha'vana's part of the storyline so there's more angles to explore like we have with Haruk'ha.

That's all for now, but I'm happy answer any questions here or on discord!
