A Happy New Year to you all my friends! 

I hope you've all managed to get some downtime this December, and have stayed warm and happy!

Mine has been pretty good so far if a bit crazy busy with family. 

Attached is the current WIP page! Finally been able to sit down and put some time into it this week. Both scared and excited to move onto that final panel. It's such a confident close-up - I'm sure I'll love it when I get into it, but right now it's a bit scary to dive into.

Sneaking in this progress report right at the end of the month - I know I've been a little slower this month, and figure you all deserve a to see the progress, even if it's a little. As ever I'll 100% understand if you disappear for a month or two while I whittle down these pages; this has always been a no-pressure-support Patreon, so only hang around as much as your comfortable! That being said, each one of these dollars goes into my coffee, and keeps me plodding along on this wild and fun hobby project - so thank you- heck - you all have made this year so much better than it could ever have possibly been. <3 Truely truely thank you!

Onward and upward. Fingers crossed I can finish the inks up and make some headway on the flats this afternoon! =D

It was a note to myself about the ears. I make a lot of notes when I'm not sure about something I've drawn, and want to revisit it another day with fresh eyes.

Amadose, this is not meant in the spirit of hate. What I am about to say is criticism, though, and if you or others get upset about that I'm fine with it. I am hating the slower drips of content. I'd actually prefer the whole comic development in the pencils, then the lines, then the coloring etc. over what we are getting. It feels so damn slow. And with Covid ramping up, it not going to get better it feels like. I'd rather have a huge chunk update than these dribbles. It would just be more fun and more interesting. You could fill the time between with a few more polls, or just some warm-up scribbles. Or even updates on how things are going for you. Just throwing it out there, obviously most Patreons may not agree and I respect that. It needs to be said, though

I am the exact opposite. I love these small consistent updates over bigger chunk ones. It is up to the artist to decide what to do.

Yeah I personally disagree man. This is how the artist works and I'm here for it. It's okay for different folks to work differently. I sure do.

I hear you! Wish I drew more often and could update more regularly! Decembers a toughie - with the IRL work and family time, it's been hard to find time to work on the comic. I try to post and share as much as I can already. I do feel guilty about not having enough polls - but there isn't much to be voted on while I make progress through the pages that need to be done. With this update - I wanted to be considerate and share where I was at, before the end of the month rolled over, so people who might only be backing for December had something to see =)

Hey Amadose - this was not a criticism of how fast the pages are coming out. It's more about a release schedule. Covid is shit and life can be hard and I am forgiving of all of that, and I have full faith in you and the work you've done so far. So I'm not criticizing the amount of content but more how it can be bundled together. Again, I'd rather get a chunk of content than dribbles. It's not about how you work, more about how you show your work.

Okidoke! I'll think about it. I used to post a bundle of pages at a time instead of working one page at a time. But wanted to try something different with this chapter. Try the per-page process. I'll think about changing it up maybe at the end of the chapter; it would be a good thing to vote on =D

Retromancer all you gotta do is not check it for a while and you get your wish. But if Amadose does what you want then the people who like updates can't get them.

So basically Amadose should keep doing what they are doing and you set a timer to check back in 5 months then everyone gets to have the content at the rate they prefer. Versus if there's a change then only you do.
