After I talked with the staff for a bit, I left the Adventurer Guild behind.

Though there'd been deaths inside the dungeon, luckily we'd been able to recover all of them, and for the time being Riana hadn't suffered any damage either, so there wasn't any restricting or anything like that, and there wasn't any major confusion among the adventurers loitering in and around the guild.

However, it seems they'd decided to properly explain it to those heading to the dungeon in the first-floor lobby.

There were also adventurers I'd seen in the noble district and called out to, but they were listening to the staff's explanation with solemn expressions.

They were mentioning the rest area quite firmly and thoroughly... anyway, people probably won't avoid the rest area anymore.

With this, in addition to time for recovering stamina and magic and maintaining equipment, they'd also have time to gather and share information, and while I can't assert that it'll necessarily prevent accidents, it should lower the probability.

"Vice-Captain!"

"Oh?"

I'd been thinking about heading back to the mansion after leaving the Adventurer Guild but a soldier was running toward me from the gate.

"How was it? It took quite a while until you came out... so there were deaths after all?"

It'd started when several people suddenly came rushing out of the Adventurer Guild when I'd stopped by in front of the East Gate earlier but they'd seen that too.

After that, dozens of new adventurers had gone inside and various things had happened, so they'd probably been wondering what had happened.

"Yeah..."

On top of that, there were adventurers nearby who apparently still didn't know what'd happened, and they were paying attention to how I looked coming out.

It wasn't like it'd be a problem for me or Riana if they asked, but it'd be a problem if I told them something half-baked here and it got spread around strangely...

"Come over here."

I moved a little ways away, and although I didn't give specific country or personal names, I decided to explain what'd happened in the dungeon in summary.

There were still soldiers left at the East Gate guard station, and they'd probably want to know the situation too.

I'd leave explaining it to them to him.

After I finished telling the East Gate soldiers about what'd happened in the dungeon, I flew toward the noble district to return to the mansion.

When entering the noble district, I basically went through the gate but there, I wasn't asked anything in particular by the gatekeepers.

It was just a light greeting.

There wasn't a line waiting to enter, and if something happened, they'd at least come to ask about it... but apparently those adventurers' employer wasn't staying in the noble district.

That means their employer's staying in the North District, huh.

That place has its own various issuesbut the Knight Order's patrolling properly, so there probably won't be any problems.

More than that, if their lodging had been in the noble district, it might've led to trouble no matter which mansion it was, so was it lucky that it wasn't?

When I flew toward the mansion, I noticed that one of the windows in Seriana's room was open.

I didn't know what time it was, but Seriana seemed to already be awake.

"I'm home."

When I entered the room, Seriana and Elena were there.

Looking at them, it seemed they'd already finished eating, and it looked like they'd gotten up not long after I'd gone out.

"Welcome back. It seems you got up quite early."

"I slept soundly, you know. Ah... I already ate outside, so I don't need any."

I stopped the servant who'd started moving to prepare a meal and said, "More than that... I'm going to take a quick bath."

Even if I didn't soak in the tub, I wanted to freshen up a bit with a shower.

It wasn't that I'd gotten particularly dirty, but after going into the dungeon, I still felt uneasy unless I washed off the sweat somehow.
