April's Riso Print: 'A Dream' (Patreon)

April’s Risograph Subscription package is coming soon! I just finished printing on Sunday, after several attempts to get into the studio, so I’m going to package all of these up for you tomorrow and Wednesday so they’ll get to you asap!

This fantastical piece, which I’m calling ‘A Dream’ was printed in 3 colors: Medium Blue, Fluorescent Pink and Yellow to create this super colored print! The Medium Blue made the piece a lot darker that I had expected but I really like how much contrast there is in this piece because of it. I’ll share another post with all of the process pictures and color separations soon, they got a little crazy! Can’t wait to talk in depth about this one. I’ll add the videos I made while drawing this there as well!

Also!!! Big news!!! I just got my shipping confirmation for my very first Risograph machine! An EZ 590 is headed to my door on Friday so I’ll finally be able to print whenever I want and with the colors I’ve chosen! I’ve been told this machine is EaZy to use, so I’m very excited to get my hands on it. It’s a single drum machine, sadly the only machine that would fit up my second story apartment stairs, but I’m looking forward to the challenge. More on that soon!!
