Thought I'd share a few of my favorite Riso and non Riso sketches vs finals-- enjoy!

For starters, here are both December and January's prints in sketch form now- still have to figure a lot out with these but I am starting to get really excited about both of them! I'm trying very hard to get these prints out to you asap. Their names will be 'Winter Dragon' to mirror my Summer Dragon piece, and 'Magical Garden' because it's just fun :) I've been drawing on grey backgrounds lately because my eyes have always been sensitive to computer light and working on character designs with grey backgrounds made me realize how much better I can see on a grey canvas- especially at night!

Ok- here's a recent piece- A book cover for Anne Schwartz Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House! Sketch vs final:

Here's a little doodle I drew to warm up- sketch vs final:

Here's an exciting one I am technically not supposed to share yet but it's not under NDA or anything and I plan to share them soon, just have to figure out when the best time is. These were originally supposed to be a major comic festival's badges for 2020, which is so sad...but maybe they'll use them for 2022??

Here's an old one, one of my first risograph prints of my long-time favorite comic Mamuanna:

And because I just realized I forgot to add it- the Nutcracker original sketch, final sketch, line and final digital mock-up!

<3 be back soon!

It's amazing to see these, your art style is so fluid. I just received the nutcracker risograph and bookplate, they are lovely! I'm sorry to bother you about this but I wanted to note, especially since the October riso just arrived, that I haven't gotten the September riso yet. I started my Patreon pledging in October, so I believe that means I was paying for the September riso as the first one? It says September 2020 as my first Supported Period on my bill but let me know if that is wrong.

Ah! Hey Cait! So, Patreon is a little confusing for how I set it up with a physical subscription and it's a little backwards in the way it titles your pledges. If you paid for 'September 2020' that means you were charged on your card on October 1st, which is technically when you started your pledge! If you start on Sept 2 then you aren't actually charged until October 1st and Patreon calls it September's pledge because it's built as if you're paying for what you've already seen. But because I have a physical subscription set up I can't send out prints to people whenever they start their pledge, so I base it on the first time they were actually charged. So it's right that you only received the October Riso print because your first charge was in October. Does that make sense? Please let me know if you think you were charged in September as well, though! Would definitely not want you to miss out on a print you paid for!
