Hi everyone!! After lots of tweaking and changes I've finally finished the Fall Dragon, part of my seasonal dragons prints. Attached is a huge breakdown of this print in a jpeg, it explains my process on photoshop from sketch to final print!

I started this print wanting a cute, calm scene in the fall leaves. I started off with colors inspired by other prints- pictured below! I wanted the dragon to be the color of the wings in the bird to the left of the woman in the 'Iron Song' first print, and I wanted the trees to be the color of the hair in the girl leading in the 'Procession' print. These colors were great starting points but these elements didn't stay those colors in the end.

As I colored out the whole piece I found I was leaning towards a more pink dragon (to contrast with the Summer Dragon) and less orange trees (also less scratchy blue, like the hair) so I added more pink to them. Here are all three prints together, I'm so excited to make the final spring dragon!!

I'll be sending out this print for my September Riso Print Subscribers (paid on Sept. 1st!) this week so keep a lookout for them soon! November's print is in the works, should be finishing that one up this next week after Emerald City Comic Con! If you're in Seattle come say hello at the con! I'll be at booth number S4.

Thanks, and as always, let me know if you have any questions!!

Heya! :) Great work on these, I'm so in love with your colors! Small question, what about the October print, was it shipped already? I don't mind waiting, but I was looking into previous posts for information on it and wasn't able to find much!

Hi Diana! Ah, yes the october print shipped at the beginning of October! Anyone who paid on or before October first should have received their print already! You didn't get yours??
