Hello again!

September’s prints labels have been created and this print should be in the mail this weekend or early next week. If you paid on September 1st and your address has changed please let me know so I can change labels if needed!

This print was made to especially highlight some of my favorite Riso colors- that bright orange in the background of the top row (100 Y + 100 P), the single color blue gradient, the dark purple in the background of the framing columns (50 B + 20 Y + 100 P) and the hot pink behind the candles on the bottom row (50 Y + 100 P). Basically my whole pink layer was completely black when I sent it to the machine (since riso reads in positive and negative space just like screen printing)!

More breakdown of exact riso values and percentages coming soon when I can compile all the documents properly.

I began this print thinking about blocks of color and what fluid, decorative pieces I could include to best display them, but then went down a rabbit hole of the origins of 70’s folk horror movies. I’m going to write a much longer post with those riso values and all my folk horror research soon, so I can properly lead you down the rabbit hole with me >:)))

For now, enjoy these pics coming to September Riso print subscribers soon!! ❤️

xx nat
