Trying to achieve some painterly vibes yet again -- I always find it challenging, but I like how this turned out a lot. I blocked out the concept in monochrome, then painted over it and adjusted as I went. It was all done on one layer, other than the texture I added at the end. First Tharja of the year! She's still hot!

ALT TEXT

An illustration of Tharja from Fire Emblem, done in a sort of painterly style with a thick, bristly digital brush. She's on her knees and leaning forward on her hands, cape draped over her back, looking at the viewer with black, lightless eyes and the barest hint of a smile forming on her lips. The background is abstract and purpley-blue with little flecks of vivid pink.

The second drawing is the initial sketch of same concept, but in monochrome black, white and grey and less refined (obviously).
