Content

I'll try to keep this part concise, because I have a habit of overexplaining/rambling.

To satisfy my own curiosity, and to help me decide what kinds of choices I'm able to make with my Patreon work, I want to know -- what is it that made y'all decide my Patreon was worth supporting?

is it having early access to certain pieces? (i.e. the timed exclusivity for the NSFW stuff)

is it the presence of NSFW art in general? (i.e., if I wasn't drawing naked women or explicit stuff, you wouldn't be interested anymore)

is it simply my promised output that matters? (i.e., sharing a certain number of new works each month)

are you only temporarily pledged to see a specific piece that I made, or art of a certain character or series? (i.e., "I'm here for Smash fanart and nothing else," etc.)

or are you just here to support my artwork in general and you're not super concerned about what I make, as long as i make something?

You can pick multiple options in the poll if multiple reasons apply, and please do leave a comment explaining more if you feel like it. I appreciate your time and the information you're willing to share.

Feel free to skip the next section and go straight to the poll, the rest is just context/personal thoughts. 🙏

____________

Alright, that's the main part -- here's where I will allow myself to ramble a bit, lol. The reason I'm asking about this is because I want to strike a balance between producing art that will keep me financially stable (I gotta pay the bills) and producing art that I feel truly and properly represents my self, my interests, my feelings, etc. The truth is, I'm not always super excited to produce explicit art these days. Sometimes I am! Sometimes I really really am, lol. But there are weeks, even months, when what I really want to make is just...art. Not have to shoehorn in some nudity or sex.

There are so many ideas I want to explore but I have to shut them down because they aren't NSFW. And back when my body could handle drawing way way more, that wasn't a big deal -- I'd get the necessary NSFW stuff drawn, then draw whatever else I wanted. Unfortunately, that's not the case for me anymore...it might not ever be the case again. As much as yoga and lots of different drugs have helped with my nerve pain, more time spent drawing still equals more physical problems. I'm able to draw, and comfortably! But not for long enough to draw everything. And I'm not getting any younger. I think about that sometimes...that life is finite, that I only have so much art left in me. I'm so incredibly thankful that I can make any kind of art for a living, that's beyond what I thought would ever be possible for me. But if I could reach a point where everything I put out is 1000% honest, 1000% me, I feel like I could look back at my life and say, "yup, that's what I was meant to be doing." Life is short, and we never know how short until it's too late. All I really want to do is make things and share them with the world and enjoy the stuff that other people made. I don't want the paywall, I don't want timed exclusivity. But I also need to have money to live.

Just like I explained in my post about reducing my output to two pieces a month, if changing up what and how I post would result in my finances taking a huge hit, I won't/can't do it. It all depends how y'all feel, and what you think is worth your own precious time and money. I only exist as an artist because there are people kind enough to support me, and I hope you never think I take that support for granted. And no matter happens, I appreciate y'all very very much. Thanks again, much love!!

For me, I like supporting and getting a notification every time there’s a new post. You could post only pics of eggs and I wouldn’t leave.

Kyasu_pla

For me personally it all comes to support, your artstyle is quite unique and very recognizable, and one of my top favorites to boot. 🫶🏻

Sam I Am

I've got multiple prints of your art on my wall. I'm here because I truly enjoy seeing what you make, no matter the content. As long as you're happy making stuff, I'll be happy to keep supporting.

Kalyx

I come here to see your unique artstyle as well as support you, my man. Any time I get a notification, I drop what I'm doing to check it out and I'm never disappointed.

I’m more or less trying to encourage that you can just draw when you feel like you want to, and also (hopefully) have the financial freedom to accomplish that. (some of your best work is when you get randomly inspired!) as opposed to assembly line obligational pieces. (Though to be clear I love and appreciate all your work.)

MDG

I've been following your artwork for some quite sometime. Thankfully I am in a position where I can support artist that I truly appreciate. I enjoy your work and I also happen to think you are a pretty swell dude! :^)

Ectro

I really just love your evolving artstyle and while I definitely appreciate some of the NSFW stuff when it releases, I’m just looking for that notification for a new work of yours regardless of what it is. Haven’t seen Iru May in a while though!

Jovinius Maximus

Firstly: In general, I love your art and artstyle, and your enthusiasm for it, and the way you like to experiment and develop. Secondly: I joined the Patreon because I like Paz and I wanted to see Paz slam and/or get slammed in summary: paz slams <3

Pidgey

Drawn in my your Lucina, but your colors and artstyle are amazing and I've been a fan of your work for a bit. Feels like your art is very unique to you.

Monkey man

Early access, NSFW, and the art in general. I LOVE your stuff dude. I wouldn't be subbed if it wasn't for the great nsfw, but I never feel disappointed when an upload isn't NSFW because your art is amazing and I love it. So don't feel like they all need to be NSFW.

Eric

Subscribed for the dream that one day you'll make a print of your portrait of Karen from HM64.

ImRamboInHere

Sure I like the nsfw art, but it's not the end all be all for me. I pay to support your work because I like your art style and work. Draw whatever you want as often as you want, as long as its still your art style I have no reason to leave.

Icedragoner

For me it's basically the support, I loved the smash bros waifu arts years back and love the arts you draw now. Your artstyle has something very aesthetic to me. Even though I slightly prefer the nsfw arts, since I enjoy this kind of art slightly more in general, the creativity in your OCs is exceptional. So no matter how things will change, I'll still support my favorite artists, of wich you are one. So thanks for all the amazing arts❤️

Gronk

Your art style is incredibly unique and it's been interesting seeing it evolve since way back in 2014~ish when I first found you. The nsfw is great but I follow your patreon so that I can see more of your art in general. Imo quality is better than quantity so I'm not personally particularly about a set upload schedule, as long as we get _something_ every month since this is a monthly paid subscription (even if it's just a wip with an update on how things are going) Also the guy saying Paz slams is 100% in the right

Travis Hymas

Ultimately what made me a fan was seeing your non-NSFW work, so if you stepped away from it, that's not a dealbreaker. At this point if I stopped my support it'd only be because of my own finances.

ArkahnX

Foremost here for your art style, the variety of both original characters and fanarts, and then the nsfw I think is just a nice bonus on top though I would miss it if it were gone forever

Aori Radidjiu

I love your NSFW but definitely don't think you need to draw it all the time. I always love the ladies you draw, whether they're clothed or not!

Tamago

I'm just here for your art in general and to support you. The art is great and I love your character choices most of the time. You have a really unique and cool art style and I just like seeing what you come up with regardless of if it's NSFW or not.

David Draper

I do like the NSFW art but I also really enjoy all of your art and am thankful for whatever you decide to create.

Cley Faye

The NSFW is a plus, but I'm generally here to support. And, I won't be able to tell you what else I'm looking for. All I know is that I sometime "clean" my subscriptions, and your's is still around, so for now it's working…

Aggs

The NSFW stuff is great, but I'm here because I love your style and want to support your work. You're also a really cool, down to earth dude, so that's a plus. I love seeing any art you make, regardless if it's SFW or not!

shisubo

I joined for the NSFW stuff originally because there were a few pieces at the time that i wanted to see. As time has gone on ive found myself just enjoying whatever you put out. I dont necessarily need NSFW stuff to justify the money i spend on a subscription anymore. I truly just want to see any and everything you put out whether it be nsfw, experimenting with different ideas or even just a simple doodle. The tasteful nude every now and then is always appreciated but again not needed in the slightest.

OmegaBlade0

It might aound silly, but you're one of the reasons why I love art so much. When I was scrolling through the internet years ago, I found various pieces your art and absolutely loved your style and expression. I didn't properly find you until a few years later, but I knew immediately as soon as I saw your art again. I may have said it before, but seeing new pieces you post always brightens my day, and I'm more than willing to support to give back even a fraction of the joy you've brought me over the years.

Ben Glazebrook

Your piece of a lady sitting on top of a giant snake with a halo spoke to me. I joined not long after and have never once regretted it. Thank you for every thing you do.

Cole Sinclair

I've been supporting you on here since 2022, but I've been following you and your art for about a decade. I'm in it for the long haul boss, I'm just happy to see what you do next

Evening

I'm mostly just here to support the art, but I do kinda miss the times when you were able to share more illustrations rather than the animations you've been working on lately. Don't want you to push yourself (or hurt yourself), but it would be nice to get a little more variety or quantity with the content here (even if that means less animations). Either way, I'm sticking around - you're someone I found through Twitter and you've been awesome to follow ever since then so I'm in it for the long haul :)

Cinisdeus

I found you through NSFW art awhile back, but subscribe to your patreon to support your work. It doesn't have to be nsfw, though I do hope you continue that from time to time, you're just a great artist and it's been nice watching and supporting you over these years with my little contribution. Plus, have you consider drawing more girls with blue hair? Feel like that's an untapped market.

Claire Knatt

I admit I was in it for the NSFW at first, but you're someone whose art I've genuinely come to love now. Do I miss your old pace of content? Sure, but that's an unfair expectation, especially now, and I'm just glad to see you get to continue doing art for a living at all. It means so much more to see you draw what *you* want.

LunaDullahan

To appreciate the art mainly and the lovely nsfw pieces, but also the zip packs you make every month lets me not miss a single piece!! Youre one of my fav artists and i wanna support ya!

meh

i'm here for art. when you're not feelin nsfw draw something else. the nsfw stuff you do is fantastic but so were those doodles from a couple days ago. shit i want the one giving the finger as a sticker, those were fun doodles. make fun shit. if it was just about continuous generation of tits out pinups, that shit is everywhere on the internet for free already. make art.

Joey

Social media feeds can get a bit messy over time. Supporting you here guarantees I won't miss a post. Plus, I can anticipate you posting it on your feeds and see everyone else react to it.

RaphaelDDL

It's a mix of a bunch of things really. I like your art, I enjoy appreciating your style, I like how you think, draw and keep it real with us, and most important of all, you don't always show up in X feed and I appreciate getting an email into my inbox with your latest piece as soon as you drop it. And of course, supporting ya even if just a few bucks.

GridRunner

Your style also inspires me when it comes to drawing

Johnny!

Getting the monthly packs so I don't have to engage with any social media but still get all your works every month is the initial reason I joined. Of course your illustration style is what made me want to collect your work in the first place. Both SFW and NSFW.

CapitanAwesomeish

Honestly, I've been here since the start with your Smash art, I just really enjoy seeing what you draw, how you experiment, and everything else. The NSFW and all that are fun little bonuses, but I legit just like seeing your art.

Evan

I've followed your art of and on since the Smash stuff you did. I love your art and would love to see more about what you are passionate about. While I like your NSFW stuff (especially some of the last peices) I actually like your non-NSFW peices more. I think you should do whatever makes your art worthwhile for you.

b4k4

I like your art for what you like to creatively come up with, not for any specific content reasons. That said, if you want to reduce NSFW or leave it altogether, I don't think that's a bad thing. Especially if you're limited in how often you can create. Less can be more. But by all means, do whatever you feel is best.

Xaq

You make good art. I want to support that endeavor. Simple as that.

Poo Jackson

Came for the tiddies (no pun intended), stayed for the vibes

PolarCherry

I'm here purely for your art. Its inspired me so much and your style has made my art what it is today. As such I wish to show my support, even if you don't do NSFW art Ill always support. Cause artist to artist your art is amazing. Keep up the great art and I can understand why you'd feel like you wouldn't want to draw NSFW. Draw what Inspires you!

MakAttack

I just left the patreon because I came for your art. I didn't join for new porn every post. I'm okay with some nude art, but I'm not here for straight up porn. Suggest you separate these going forward if you're to be doing both.

Rivux

I initially joined because honestly, I wanted to study your NSFW art a lot more closely lol. Your rendering style and linework use techniques I'd like to get better at using myself, and I've admired your art for a long time because of it! I'm here for whatever you make either way, not just the porn. I've been following your art since the Smash 4 days, so your art has always been appealing no matter what audience you make it for. I'm glad to support it!

DynaDere

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't here for tiddi. That being said, it's not like I'd die without it, I've enjoyed your work for the better part of a decade now (hell look at my pfp). And in all honesty I've come to appreciate your unique brand of ideas and works, lewd or not. I know "good vibes" don't necessarily pay the bills, but I know I'd hate for you to have to hang up the pen due to hand pains. So yeah, follow your heart, it's what *I'm* here for, even if I don't always chime in down here in the comments.

Tony M

I love your style and am not at all fussed about whether you're drawing naked people or not. For as long as you continue wanting to draw professionally, I'm happy to keep throwing a little money at you to support it.

AkaiRiot

Honestly, I think I could do better now! If I get a really cool idea for some Karen art and it's printworthy, I'll definitely make it a print. 🙏

AkaiRiot

I have a NSFW tag on posts already, but I could add a "sex" or "explicit" tag to help differentiate!

MakAttack

I really love your art and want to support you I just didn't see a reason to stick around after I've felt it shift further and further towards explicit work. I have multiple of your prints up in my home. I definitely want to support you but I just didn't feel like I align with what I perceived to be the majority of your posts nowadays. I hope you are able to make what you want and sustain yourself off of it.

AkaiRiot

Totally understandable -- that's part of what this whole post was about, because I'd been under the impression that if I didn't put out enough NSFW, my finances would completely collapse. Since my output is physically limited now, that meant NSFW getting priority. But, fortunately, it seems like maybe that's not 100% the case. Either way, I appreciate your support in whatever form it ends up taking -- thank you for your thoughts and your kindness. 🙏

CDH

I find I resonate more with creators when I feel like I can be a supporting patron and not just a customer; I want to support both the person and the art. When I'm just buying stuff I want a storefront, not a subscription. While the early-access paywall did finally get me to pay, I've been appreciating your art (and tweets) for years and probably should have started chipping in earlier. I plan to stick around as long as it seems worthwhile to do so, though it's hard to say exactly what that would entail. I like the NSFW elements but also what I consider to be your distinctive creativity and style and accept that allowing for the latter might mean less of the former and some results that just don't appeal to me. I'd never set a specific quota (unless requested) but consider it obvious that at least some production is essential; if I'm supporting you and your art, there better be art. 😁 Additionally, I've long been a believer that you, as a creator, have to do what works for you because that's the best way for us to continue to get results in the long run. If you aren't happy, burn out, aren't sufficiently profitable, or just don't think it's worth it then you probably won't keep making art for us because you'll choose to do other things. That said, I also think it's worth considering that what I want and what's good for you might not be aligned; while I might be sad if you stop being a creator I want to support, if that change is beneficial for you then I'd hope you'd make it.
