Another one of my favorite Pokemon -- man, I really enjoyed drawing this, too! Tried to evoke a sense of speed while also feeling chill, hopefully I struck the right balance there. Working on these woodblock-inspired backgrounds is also really relaxing.

Dragapult's so cool...

Arc Ray

your simple-yet-detailed backgrounds are just amazing.

Dude, as always you did absolutely fantastic job!! If there ever comes a day that you make art for the Pokemon TCG, I'll buy every single card with your art on it!

I was inspired, this art evoked something in me. So I wrote something real quick. --- A crest ripped through the water’s surface without a source, waves taller than me lashing at the otherwise placid lake air, filling the beach with the smell of raging water. It had been doing that for about an hour now, with the cause only occasionally visible; a dragon, with a broad, almost fish-like head, and a serpentine almost twice as long as most adult humans were tall. It was carved from fatty muscle, with a round body dwarfed by its thick tail. It had limbs, but they seemed almost too small to be of any kind of practical use. As it ripped through the sky, it moved in a discomforting, unnatural way - that is, not moving at all, simply displacing itself through the air. At times it would shimmer, and simply disappear from sight, though was still plainly there based on the continued waves. The water curved, as it made a sharp turn. Lake water splashed the beach, but I’d learned to be out of the splash zone after the last time. There was still a change of clothes in my bag, just in case, but hopefully I wouldn’t need it. Turning a clay pigeon over in my fingers, I loaded it into bulky but portable mechanical slingshot I’d brought with us, and gave the lever on the back a pull. It flew, whistling through the air. From the nothingness, a much smaller dragon zipped through the air, colliding with the disc and leaving behind a dramatic earthen explosion. “Whew! Alright, that’s a good shot! You’re getting better at firing while making those turns!” Turning at high speeds wasn’t my Dragapult’s strong suit, let alone staying effective in combat while doing it. But it was, of course, a trainer’s job to help their partner patch up their flaws.

Thats awesome, definitely had a mix of those feelings

Not going to lie, these past few chill pictures have been some of my favorites. Keep up the amazing work my dude.

I love this summer/water theme you got going on with the background. Would you consider doing one of a bunch of Mudkips? Like a group of them playing on a river bank?

Flash Kenton

Feels like they're dashing through Hoenn. I love it 💛
