"A reclusive romance novelist on a book tour with her cover model gets swept up in a kidnapping attempt that lands them both in a cutthroat jungle adventure."

Never thought I'd enjoy a leech scene so much...

This was a fun rewatch. I haven't seen this movie since it came out, so I didn't remember/realize that the publicist was played by Da'Vine Joy Randolph who won Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars, the BAFTA's, and the Golden Globes this year for her performance in "The Holdovers." She was super funny in this, but let me tell you-she is a whole lot more than a funny side character. Her performance in "The Holdovers" was on a whole other level. If you ever want to see Daniel Radcliffe in something completely different, you should try "Kill Your Darlings" (2013). It was the first thing I saw him in that allowed him to really push Harry Potter off to one side.

I enjoy when Daniel Radcliffe plays a campy/eccentric villain.

My parents actually watched this before I did. Which was actually my dad watching it then my mom going in and out of the living room and just staying to watch the madness. This movie is so ridiculous but I love it and as someone who loves ridiculous action movies - when I saw Bullet Train in theaters with my dad - I thought it was funny how these 3 were also in that movie and how Brad Pitt is kinda this character but after THIS movie. At least, that's how I'm taking it.

Now I want to watch The Holdovers....what genre is that? Is it going to make me cry?!

At one point it's a bit TOO long but I love it. Funny, scruffy hot men with accents in an action movie and two cunty woman? Love.
