I’m baaaccckkk! Updates for the future! (Patreon)

Hello my friends!
I am sorry that I left you BEREFT over the last week (aside from Luca) but if you follow any of my socials, you may have seen that I was in Hawaii on a much needed vacation with my bestie.
I want to be very open and transparent with everyone about some stuff I have been dealing with over the last few months leading up to this vacation and how they will be affecting some stuff moving forward.
I’ve always talked about mental health stuff in videos, but I’ve in case anyone wasn’t aware, I am a person who struggles very badly with depression. Been dealing with it since I was a kid, and while it never really goes away, depressive episodes will come and go, lasting different amounts of time. I’ve been dealing with one since just before Christmas, and admittedly it’s been kicking my ass. There are days I can’t even get out of bed.
About two weeks before my vacation, thanks to our current administration, I was informed my main job is no longer staying remote, which means I would either have to move back home to Chicago (incurring a lot of financial expenses like breaking my new lease) or having to find a new job. I am opting to stay where I am here in Colorado, so within the next few weeks, all I will have until I find something else, is YouTube/Patreon.
It’s always been my goal to make this my full time gig, but due to the depression and my workload at the main job, I haven’t been able to stick to a consistent schedule and really put in the required effort to continue to grow everything and get the revenue to where I need it to be. Until I do secure a new job, the channel and Patreon will become my full time gig.
Honestly, I’m terrified. I’m a person who needs stability and security, and this is going to be pushing my comfort zone in ways I do not like. But I am going to try.
With that being said, the goal over the next two weeks or so is to find a rhythm so that everything is being released on a consistent schedule, with some fun stuff in the works (including a Hawai’i VLOG!).
Your support, past-current-future, means everything to me and I can’t thank everyone enough for being patient with my wonky schedules and sticking around through all the insanity. I know I am not the only person in this situation and I know I’m not the only one struggling. Let us all cross our fingers, toes, eyes, whatever yall can cross without medical intervention, and come out on the other side stronger!
Love you all!
-Nick 💛
