This was fun! I'll watch Meredith Salenger in anything, and my loyalty to John Carpenter knows no bounds. (I worked with him once - he's a fantastic guy.) You and I had many of the same reactions at the same time as well - I mean picture that town's Denny's with not one, not two, but NINE children letting loose with those brain-piercing shrieks that make you drop your fork ALL AT THE SAME TIME. No thank you.

I still cannot stop thinking about the wig they had on baby Mara, that thing was atrocious, no wonder she turned out evil. Fun movie, though it definitely felt like there were some scenes missing. The whole priest scene at the end and then next scene his wife going full on cult leader could've used a little more build up imo

This was one of my favorite horror movies for some reason. Maybe it was the child actors of the time, or Christie Alley (whom at the time was an amazing actress) and the story was decent.
