HOW DOTH THIS WORKETH?  You will have your own copy, or access to, this movie. If you choose to sync up, I will do a countdown, and we will both hit play, this way you can watch along with me.

This is a full video of ME, this does NOT contain the actual movie.

I 100% thought that I that I had seen this movie before, but it had been so long (or so I thought) I figured why not do a rewatch? Well, as it turned out I had not seen this movie. So glad I decided to "rewatch" it. 🤡 What a great film! It's a classic for a reason. And yes, Nick, it was originally shown in black and white (thanks, Google). The bad guy was played by Raymond Burr who was most famous for playing Perry Mason.

Haley Mastronardi

It says on the AI overview that it was in black and white but that’s not true. The overview is pretty unreliable. In the opening credits, there a big credit to Technicolor. So it was shot in colour.

Oh my gosh! Thank you. I didn't notice that it was an AI response. Just one more thing to be on the lookout for in these oh-so-wonderful times. Thanks again- now I know to pay more attention when I use Google. 😃

I felt like we were in our own wheelchairs beside Jeffries Nick. The drama unfolding in all the apartments. The suspense at the end had me on the edge of my seat. This was fantastic.

I’m only 20 min in but this goes to show even in the 50s a man will not want you at all but still play games lol

RC Flores

This was the first move I saw with Grace Kelly. I couldn't get over how pretty and elegant she was.

If I were forced to choose my favorite movie from Hitchcock's catalog, as in I could only watch one for the rest of my life, this would be my favorite. I would say this, Psycho, and Rebecca are in my top 3 of his films. Obviously, there are movies prior to this one that would also fall into this category, but it just feels like the early touchstones of what we now refer to when we talk about a domestic/psychological thriller.

I love this movie so much. It's so cozy and comforting and well made. I love the atmosphere, that it takes it's time and lets scenes breathe. I also love that all of the music and sounds were from the environment, and it didn't have a score. I think movies with minimal music can sometimes build amazing suspense, like old Spielberg movies and this. So glad you reacted to it. Love your channel.

Super late to this but the killer in this movie was a gay dude in real life.
