Great reaction. I had to stop with the fandom on this cause they can get pretty rough. But that's why I like watching reactions and fresh views. Reading what you wrote before I assume you have finished the season so I'm sure you know the answers to the questions. I really like this episode. Armand's backstory breaks my heart every time. The bench scene with Louis and Dreamstat, amazing. But something about the scene on the bench with Louis and Armand gives me the ick. Maybe Louis calling Armand the name that was used for him in the brothel. We can say that's his real name but even Armand said he isn't sure because the abuse. Claudia and Madeleine, loved their scenes. Can't wait for 2x5.

Lavender Violet

You will get answers to 'most' of your questions about Daniel/Louis/Armand in Episode 5. It's an incredible episode. Also- I can't remember if I've read comments where anyone mentioned it to you but when you finish the season you should also react to the Season 3 teaser trailer. It is soooo good. You could tack it on to your episode 8 reaction. I think it's only like 3-4 minutes long, but it will get you excited for Season 3.

I read (or heard- can't remember) that Jacob Anderson said that Louis is the Lestat to Armand in parts of this season. Basically treating Armand in some sense like Louis perceived himself to be treated by Lestat in season 1.
