"Molloy investigates the aftermath of Claudia and Louis's trial while Louis grieves in imprisonment. Moreover, Armand is also ridiculed for having helped Louis."

Who would have thought that ARMAND was the problem?

Ok- I haven't even watched this yet, but let me answer your question. ME! I thought Armand was the problem. Ever since he was announced as 'the love of Louis' life' at the end of Season 1. He's always been the problem. I hate Armand! Armand sucks!! 😂

To answer the questions that you asked in the video: 1.) Armand turned Daniel. Daniel referred to him as his maker in his telepathic call with Louis, and Louis apologized to Daniel for leaving him alone with Armand because that's when he turned him. 2.) The vampire Sam was working with The Talamasca. He gave his original script with Armand's notes to them. They then gave it to Daniel (via Real Rashid), so he could prove to Louis that Armand was in on the plan to kill Claudia and him from the start. 3.) Season 1 took place in modern times- they even referred to Covid (though not by name). So I 'think' that where we ended with this season would also be in modern times. 4.) Season 3 is called "The Vampire Lestat" and will focus on Lestat's history and rise to becoming a famous rock star. I won't say anything else because I know you avoid spoilers. The material will come from the book of the same name. Seasons 1 and 2 were based on the book "Interview With A Vampire." I personally am excited for this because the only thing that I didn't like about Season 2 was that there was not enough Lestat/Sam Reid for my taste. PS- I hope 🤞 that you will be reacting to Season 3 when it comes out. Re-watching this season with you has been great. 👏🥳

Shelia Atim was cast as Akasha, which I haven’t yet seen any of her films. I was kinda hoping they’d cast Tati Gabrielle, after seeing how brilliant of an actress she was in Adventures of Sabrina the Witch and as MariAnne in You

I hope you'll react to the season 3 teaser they released around the same time that season 2 ended. It's so great. It's basically just an interview with Lestat when he's already a rock star. Sam Reid as always is amazing. You have to see it.

(Without spoiling anything) yes, like others have said, Armand is the one that turned Daniel, which also happens in the books (in queen of the damned to be more specific), but it goes down a lot differently there. From what we've seen in interviews so far, it seems like they will focus on this Daniel and Armand dynamic more in season 3, and it will be heavily inspired by what they got going on in the books. Once again, not gonna spoil anyhing, but it's going to be really interesting for sure. One thing I really didn't like about this season is certain changes they made from the book. For example Claudia's turning being more on Louis than Lestat, because in the book Louis doesn't even know about Lestat doing it. Another one is Lestat saving Louis at the trial instead of Armand. That one made me pretty mad ngl, because I really liked Louis and Armand together in the book, and the whole thing of how their relationship went down. Overall it just felt like they tried to really absolve Lestat of all the bad shit he had done, and putting all of it on the others instead, which is definitely giving a certain vibe, but maybe it was just accidental.

I second this recommendation. It's fun and spoiler free.

"Whoever plays her needs to avoid airplanes for a solid 6 years" ...... the way I paused and looked AGHAST into the invisible documentary camera....

nicksaysboo

🤣🤣 The way I do this all the time now even when there is no camera around. 💀

I could see that switch happening due to Lestats popularity within the show. Not saying that I agree with it (I mean I personally love Lestat) but I can simply surmise that that’s probably part of the reasoning behind that creative choice.

nicksaysboo

Thanks so much, Gloria! So happy to have ya!

nicksaysboo

Maybe I’ll do that before I start S3!

nicksaysboo

I’ve seen the images! I will have to wait to see her in action, certainly wasn’t a casting choice I expected. But I’m curious to see!

nicksaysboo

Thank you so much for answering all that. The joys of reactions, sometimes you miss a line! S3 is the one I’m most excited for but I will definitely be rewatching season 1 before starting S3 (whenever that drops). Armand turning him is a gag. Petty, petty!

Yeah maybe it's just me being a lestat hater haha (he does something in book 4 that I'll just never be able to forgive him for), but I also just don't understand why they're so afraid to make him as evil as he was in the books when they're not scared to do the same with the other characters. The best thing about this universe is that they're all fucking menaces, but we still love them. And while I'm as white as they come so I can't speak on this, but I've seen poc saying that this can come off unintentionally racist on the writers' part, and sadly I can see that.

I know I'm probably just trying to see the best in Lestat, because I love him. But the version of events I want to believe in is that when the coven/theater group contacted Lestat to do the trial/play he knew that they were going to kill Claudia and Louis no matter what and that he didn't have enough power to stop them completely. So he played along to be there when it happened, so that he could save Louis, but he didn't have enough power to save the both of them. I might just be dickmatized like Louis for wanting to believe this, but I hope it's true lol. Loved these last two episodes. They were beautiful. Great reaction.
