Billy Zane was sooooo effing hot.

Ofbricks

He was one of my teen crushes like mad.

Ofbricks

Wormwood is a reference to Revelation.

Ofbricks

I love these old style lightning effects. Makes me think of old 80s sci-fi movies like "My Science Project"

Ofbricks

Nah Wally is such a nice guy!

Ofbricks

If its not a loud sex scene, its not "Tales from the Crypt."

Ofbricks

I love all these monster effects. They really went all out for this movie.

Ofbricks

If I recall, it went to theaters.

Ofbricks

The effect used to seal the doorway looks a lot like the effect used in "Time Cop" when they Van Damne off.

RC Flores

This has been on my rewatch list. Perfect timing. Haven't seen it since it first came out.

Ofbricks

The creature effects had no budget. I'm certain of that!

Ofbricks

So, Jesus was crucified in the middle, and two thieves were on the crosses to the left and right of him.

Ofbricks

The sponge...was arousing.

Best Bad Bitches EVER!

This reference is often used to describe something bitter being added to anything to make it inedible. Like water being dosed with wormwood would make it very bitter to drink. Revelation uses this imagery often to depict destitution, desolation, desperation.

Lavender Violet

The actor that played the sheriff (that you couldn't remember at first where you knew him from)- I recognized him from The Golden Girls. He played that politician that everyone thinks Blanche slept with, but then he announces that his real secret is that he was used to be a woman. I've rewatched that show so many times that I can usually clock guest stars pretty quickly. 🤪

Ry'anne

Oooh, I'm so ready for the new "Frights, Camera, Action" intros. 😁😁
