I'm not even done with the reaction yet, but I had to pause to tell you that, yes, Jonah was home alone. Welcome to life in the 80's/early 90's! 😂 I grew up in the 80's and I started babysitting other people's kids (yes, including actual babies) at 10 years old. And so did my friends. It was a whole other world. 🤪🤪 Don't know if this will work, but this YouTube short sums it up nicely. I sent it to all my Gen X friends and they were like- Exactly! A whole different world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUCCEasGSW0

I am so glad you loved this movie. It's just feel good perfection. I agree about the soundtrack. I, in fact, owned this soundtrack on cassette tape back in the day. I listened to it all the time. I really think you would like "You've Got Mail" as well. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan a few years after this. Very sweet, very adorable. Highly recommend it. And if it incentivizes you at all, Parker Posey is in it in a supporting role. 😉 Another great mid nineties romcom is "While You Were Sleeping" with Sandra Bullock and coincidentally Bill Pullman. It's soooooo good!
