Thanks for recommending it! FYI, about halfway through my headphones died so I had to pause, and then we resync but it shouldnt be an issue, we just do the countdown again at the time stamp I paused.

there’s a couple things I wanted to mention about this movie, little fun facts. this movie was written, directed, and edited by a woman, and the super long shots with no dialogue are supposed to make you uncomfortable to show just how uncomfortable it is in real life to experience. the constant butt shots is to show that women are often seen as an image through the male gaze. they wanted jen to be a different character from what we usually see in grape revenge films, usually the innocent victim, she wanted to portray a woman in tune with her sexuality, to show that no matter who or how a woman is, they are the ones in control of their sexuality, no matter who she is or what she does, she didn’t deserve what happened. I think a cool thing to point out is the pink and blue tinted window, symbolizing gender presentation, we see Jen in the beginning behind the pink tinted window, whilst at the end, she appears behind the blue tinted window, showing that she has now taken up the violent vigilante role, traditionally reserved for men.
