With this one, I decided to watch a movie I have been putting off for quite a long time due to it's content...

...sigh...

I am watching Irreversible, y'all. 

But I am not alone! I am joined by a special guest, my good friend Yutaka from The Horror Hour! We both agreed to be traumatized together. I am going down with the ship alone.

This movie does contain graphic scenes of sexual assault, plenty of homophobia, and basically everything that makes you uncomfortable. So please keep that in mind!

(also this movie is in French, but automatically has subtitles, just an fyi)

Wowww, uhmm well..lol it was comforting going through it with both of y’all but 😭😭for THAT scene I just muted and went off your faces for a bit cause hell no. So thanks for the experience (it really was put together great minus the spins) but I can’t wait for the next Wednesday and The White Lotus update to liven the Patreon again 😅 loved having @Yutaka for this! I knew the scene existed, just didn't realize it was THAT long and THAT intense o_O And yes, not to worry! I am editing my Hannibal finale right now, and I have all of Sunday blocked off to record all day! More White Lotus, more Wednesday, all the things! Now that Hannibal and Chucky are over, and we are back to the one video a week (on YT), as well as the holidays coming to an end soon, my schedule can relax a bit and we will have tons of content...not that I don't have content now, but you get my point lol

Yeah. I did a caption. 😇 In fact in 2020 Gaspar Noe made a new montage / edit. The new version is in chronological order. Easier to follow. But a way more somber. Coz the first edit goes to the light and the new one goes to full darkness. It’s a bit shorter. And so Alex, Monica Bellucci character, becomes the main character. It’s now a diptych. Ready to see the new version 😂

I finally decided it was time to watch this. I've known about this movie because it's always on "most disturbing movies" lists and I knew I wanted to watch it because it's told in reverse. I knew the storyline but no one ever said she was pregnant (not that it matters because it was so fucked) but that always gets left out. Had I known about the fucking shots though...god the turning shit got my head all fucked up. As someone with chronic migraines, the whole beginning and ending of the movie fucked my head up. I had to be in a good movie to watch this because I knew it would just tear me down and it did. Every man in this movie was a complete and utter piece of trash. I knew I could only watch this movie with others but I who the fuck would I ask?? Even though you guys were mostly quiet (that couldn't be helped because it was a fucking lot) having you two to watch it with helped.

I would have talked more but I didn't know if Yutaka was shook, scarred or frozen LOL But the movie was a lot, for sure.
