Question Regarding Syncing Up Videos (Patreon)

Howdy spooky friends! 

I wanted to get some feedback regarding the process of syncing up the videos when watching the Full-Length Reactions. I know that not everyone is in the same country, so it can differ depending on where you are, but I want to ensure I am making it as easy as possible for everyone to easily sync up.

Do you ever have issues syncing up?

Does avoiding hitting any "skip ads/intros/recap" help, or would it actually be easier to skip those and sync up after?

I typically don't have any issues. There has been two times when for whatever reason the preview that I'm seeing at the beginning is not the same as yours, or I'm seeing a preview while you're seeing a recap. Wish HBO wouldn't do this. But it's easy enough for me to sync up afterwards.

I "may" have figured out an improvement, but I want to test it first before rolling it out. But in regards to what you said, HBO Max is usually the culprit?

Yes I should have said that. I do use HBO Max. It's usually the same as yours. But that mix-up has happened to me twice.

I haven’t had many issues but I’ve seen other creators who will have the first 2 or so minutes playing without audio in the corner so we can see what they are watching and sync up.

I live in France and I actually do usually don’t have those skipable recap or ad idk if it’s a European thing like for exemple for white lotus I don’t get the previously on, from memory it was the same for interview with a vampire and pretty little liars and certain movies personally as long as you say when you get the logo like the hbo one for exemple so I can sync up im good :) but it’s true that sometimes I’m kinda guessing ahah (mostly with hbo and amc shows) but I’ve always been able to figure it out. Sorry for the long text I hope I was clear enough

I was able to locate a program to allow me to do this, so assuming it works after some testing, I should be able to have that moving forward at the start of all the full length reactions. :)

Skipping usually isn’t an issue for me but is it possible to play the first minute of the film on your screen to make sure we’re all synced up?

That’s great! I live in Canada and the HBO here doesn’t do the preview but it is pretty easy to get synced up. Especially once you say there is the HBO logo is not a problem.

I m usually pretty good at syncing I rely alot on you commenting on what's happening to make sure it's good and adjust if necessary
