"A fortune teller with extrasensory perception is asked to help find a young woman who has mysteriously disappeared."

How I never heard of this movie shocks me, but I am glad that I finally got to experience it because holy mother of STACKED CAST!

HOW DOTH THIS WORKETH?

You will have your own copy, or access to, this film. If you choose to sync up, I will do a countdown, and we will both hit play, this way you can watch along with me.

*This is a full video of ME, this does NOT contain the actual movie.*

ang

wait omg i love this movie come through yutaka!!!!!

Jennifer Morgan

I love Cate Blanchett and this movie. She's such a versatile actress. It was frustrating watching Cate's character continually being assaulted and mocked. I forgot how nasty Keanu Reeves is in the film. (Off topic, I also have to sleep with a box fan on and listening to ambient "thunderstorms".)

Gabrielle Renae

This movie just recently popped up on my radar and I've been wanting to watch this. Gotta set some time to the side to watch this. Honestly, I miss all the shit you point out so I'll be looking forward to the reaction/ commentary.

nicksaysboo

I absolutely loved her in this! I want to see more of her now, hopefully she's done more spooky stuff like this! and Team Box Fan!

nicksaysboo

Haha, it's true, I am always over analyzing everything!

Jenn Lail

Absolutely loved watching this along with you! I totally agree with your assessment of the ending and that it was easy to figure out the killer early on. I hope you continue to do these watch alongs because it feels like I'm watching a movie with a friend! Hope you're settling in well after your big move and I truly enjoy your content. You are my comfort channel and I mean that as a great compliment. p.s. when you pulled a "david", I laughed out loud!

nicksaysboo

Thanks Jenn! Yeah, the killer thing was obvious to me, but the movie still kicked ass so I can forgive it. This was probably my favorite watch of this month so far! I will keep them coming! (and yeah thats what happens when I talk to him all the time!)

RC Flores

First, Cate... Queen. My favorite actress ever! Second, that first officer that dismisses her complaint about Donnie looked so familiar. Apparently, stupid cop is his thing because he's the same cop that Ben Willis killed when he was driving Helen home.

Tara M. Wilcoxon

My iPad froze up knee deep into your reaction, so I lost sync. You were on point, obviously, about the culprit.

Tara M. Wilcoxon

Did you mention sleep paralysis during this reaction? I experience it, but they’re auditory hallucinations.

nicksaysboo

Probably. I have experienced sleep paralysis twice, and it was NOT FUN. Hands down scariest thing I have experienced.

River Crestfallen

I love this movie. Another you may wish to check out is The Gift 2015. It is not a remake. Just a movie by the same name.

River Crestfallen

I love Giovanni so very much. I think he is absolutely adorable.

River Crestfallen

I did not know who killer was when I first watched this movie when I was younger. So I think you're just good at figuring it out or something. Haha. And Buddy's story was so sad. It would have been great if it had ended differently.

River Crestfallen

Cate Blanchett is a phenomenal actress. She is famous for being in Lord of the Rings as Galadrial the elf Queen in the woods. Which I love but other roles I loved that I think you would also enjoy is The School of Good and Evil with Charlize Theron and The House with a Clock in the Walls with Jack Black. A horror/thriller I been wishing to see is Nightmare Alley which I have yet to watch.
