Paint Time! (Patreon)

So now that the foot is all built and the actuator is inside, it's time to paint on the details. I mix up different colors of silicon along with paint thinner and begin to brush on the colors to make it more realistic. The sole of the foot gets hints of red brushed on, the veins get some blue brushed on them, and a layer of yellow goes on the top of the foot. This is what it looks like after drying, but as you can see it is still very shiny. To get rid of that, you dab some skin colored powder on it.
