So, beasts, the ultimate question - Which is the best werewolf transformation movie/scene? Is it really David Kessler transforming in his girlfriend's apartment in American Werewolf of London? Or maybe Eddie Quist in The Howling? Is another option even a competition for these two? Let us know!

Bad moon! The guy’s boots even burst off his feet right as he packs on inches after inches of height!

Oh yeah that was definitely a really good part of that transformation! Love me some growing wolf feet busting out of shoes! Lol. -WolfTF918

Van Helsing, I wasn’t a fan of the skin ripping but he was one heck of a werewolf.

I totally agree! I think Hugh Jackman and Will Kemp both played amazing werewolves in that movie! -WolfTF918

As low budget as it was, Silver Bullet will always hold a special place in my heart. The above comments though, yes, they are correct too! Being Human was surprisingly fantastic and Bad Moon was a good try at the blend between practical and CG effects. Van Helsing I think might be a tad overrated, but you can't deny the classic werewolf look in those movies.

Actually, the Silver Bullet one isn't too bad. I remember it was not too bad. Kinda reminds me the Howling 6 one (with the window). I totally agree with the Bad moon and Being Human UK (it was kinda back to old school tf). - Blasphemer

Silver Bullet certainly has a better transformation than many of these modern movies. The box/poster art will get me all excited and BAM! disappointment.

Totally, I think the Wolfman of 2010, and Underworld 4 were decent. Wolfcop has its merit too. But overall, CGI sucks. - Blasphemer
