End of October Update Post! + Previews (Patreon)

Hi everyone,

Thank you for all the support and excitement this October! To address the most important thing first, I am very happy to announce that Frieren will be released NEXT WEEK! This project has been very close to my heart, as it's one I've wanted to do for a while now. It's also one of the most highly requested pairings I've had since starting this Patreon. I hope the final result reflects the depth of Frieren and Himmel's connection, as I know their relationship means a lot to so many people.

As for the October previews:

The first, second, and third previews are for the One Piece project.

The fourth preview is for the Frieren project (this shot was actually completed a while ago, but I thought people would appreciate seeing the X-ray view from this stage of animation!).

The fifth preview is for the short High School DxD project.

The sixth preview is for the Bleach project.

Maple-chan, One Piece, the short High School DxD sequel, and Bleach are all looking great!.

Maple-chan and High School DxD are still planned for release by the end of the year. With Frieren releasing in just a few days, my attention will turn to getting the Maple-chan project out next. The final line art and color are being finished right now, after which it'll just need final sound and compositing.

I've had such a fun time working on this project, especially since I've thought for a while that it would be great to see Maple-chan in longer animations. So thank you again to everyone who let me know they were excited to see a Maple-chan animation. This one is for you! 🍁♥️

One Piece is still planned for an early release next year. It's been such an interesting experience trying to get the art and animation just right for this project, especially since the anime's style has varied so much over the years. Figuring out how far to push the characters' expressions and designs while still making them feel true to the source material has been a really fulfilling challenge. I'll often find myself thinking for this project, "Wait, does this shot need to be pushed further?" and then the next shot I'll think, "Okay, gotta reel that back in." I feel like this experience has helped me grow even further in how I approach these animations, and it's made me excited to take on other art styles in the future!

Bleach is also planned for an early release next year, and I'm glad I got to share some animation from it with you, even though the project is still in its early stages. I'm thrilled with how it's coming along, and hopefully I'll have even more animation to show in the November previews!

I've also mentioned some upcoming polls, and I'm still working out when to post them. There are some interesting things on the horizon that I'd really love to hear everyone's thoughts on!

As always, every release reminds me how fortunate I am to have such an amazing community supporting this Patreon. Your enthusiasm allows me to keep improving and exploring new ideas, and I hope each new animation feels worth the wait. Thank you all for being part of what makes this possible!
