Another week down. But another one got added onto the horizon too so... Short update today but hopefully the various other activity this week makes up for that.
THIS WEEK
• Available Data is out! If you somehow missed this... how? Grab it now. It is medicinal and designed for repeated listening, both on headphones and on the biggest sound system you can find/commandeer.
• We had a little burst of new patreon sign ups around the new release - hi to all newcomers and thank you! It looks like most of you who signed up after we mailed out Bandcamp codes have already been in touch, but if you want codes and don't have them, drop us a DM here and we'll sort that out asap. Also, since you're new, if you use Discord at all then you might want to check in on our server over there.

• The latest instalment of our Wreckage Systems Technical Overview was published yesterday. You can give that a read HERE if you missed it. This one is about Euclidean beats and Drum Farms. Not metaphorical farms, actual ones. Where we grow drums. You heard.
• All the relevant 65LABS technicians attended a mandatory mini-summit about the progress of V2. It has become clear we have embarked on a huge task that we vastly underestimated and underprepared for. A classic 65 tactic that the (non-hierarchical) bosses over in the 65LABS Strategy Wing heartily endorse. The summit was useful: we changed some plans, split up some ideas, pretended we had a project manager for a bit, tied ourselves in knots and confused our brains into submission. What it boils down to is that, (and do forgive us if we previously had this idea, reported it here, and then forgot we ever had it), we're gonna try to implement some kind of back channel wreckage stream for patrons to check out the beginnings of V2, soon. This stream will probably be intermittent, definitely buggy, but will be a good balance between keeping this project interesting for all of you wonderful people supporting it, but without the added pressure of rushing to make this a stable enough piece of software to be able to roll out to the millions (we assume - still not checked) watching and listening for free.
• Outside of the summit, we also found time to do a good stint of noise-making, feeling out possibilities for new candidates for the next release. We're still sitting on a library of open-ended material of various flavours, trying to figure out what release #4 should feel like so we can focus on the appropriate tunes. Still early days for this, but it's always good to carve out some time for some more tangible actual-song-writing.
NEXT WEEK
• Dunno, you'd have to ask our project manager. It'll probably involve noise, code and headaches.
Congratulations on surviving another week. See you in the next one.
