Misfits Is the The Winner For The Thursday Show Spot (Patreon)

Thanks everyone for voting . This one was back & forth for a bit, I didn't know if Jonathans Creek or this one would win. At one point I saw Misfits lose some votes & Jonathan Creek gain couple. I think a few of you changed your minds lol. Well What we do in the Shadows will be ending in a month . So another long show poll will be posted that gives Jonathans Creek another shot . Also I will be sure to put Bad Education on the Poll this time and not just list it I apologize for forgetting.

Jonathan Creek beat Misfits by 36 votes in the previous poll and has been second place for several polls long before Misfits was even added. I'm beyond gutted to be honest.

Absolutely gutted. Seen Jonathan Creek about 20 times all the way through. Never seen or even had Misfits on my radar. If Misfits did go into the lead, it was at the absolute 11th hour because Jonathan Creek was in the lead consistently for 48 hours prior to this evening (albeit by only 3 votes or so but it was in the lead all the same). It also beat Misfits by 36 votes in the previous poll. A real head scratcher. It is what it is but I'm beyond gutted.

I think there may be people with a strong dislike of Creek so anything but JC carries. Misfits is OK though the first series is great but the show does loose its way a little as it progresses.

100% agreed. Hundreds of options. Poll open for over a week. I'd even support the polls being time locked for 2 days. Get your votes in and the result is called 5 days prior to the first episode. There are always going to be disappointed voters but at least it's not the painful waiting game.

Yeh I don't mind 7 days at all, but when it gets to this time and you never know when it's going to end. Exact same case with last time when JC was winning and then got beaten by Fresh Meat, which I also enjoy (as with Misfits) but it would just be good to know what to expect in that sense.

Woop! Misfits has got a bit of everything - Sci-fi, fantasy, action, humour, supernatural, romance, drama, character progression, sadness, silliness, variety, DARK af themes, sex, drugs & violence, eclectic soundtracks, WTF! moments, cliffhangers, mild peril.

Love this show watched it when it came out and constantly gone back to rewatch. Been waiting for you to watch it for ages. Love the character especially a certain Irish actor. For the me the first two seasons will be the greatest.

Oh and that time when Jonathan Creek was level pegging with What We Do In The Shadows, but again, had been in the lead just beforehand but we then went to a dead heat between the two and Jonathan Creek inexplicably lost? The show's cursed. I'd sooner it was removed from the poll than this every time. I have it all and can just enjoy it quietly myself. I really want Josh to see it obviously but man alive, it's too blinking stressful waiting for what is now well over a year, probably two. 🙈

What happened to Green Wing? That was getting a fair few votes for a while too. I liked Misfits, but it lost its way after a few seasons. The first season's very strong though. I was convinced the Irish actor from season one was going to go on to be the next big thing in Hollywood, he was such a charisma supernova.

It's natural to be disappointed when your show loses. Just like it's natural to be in an especially good mood when your show wins - like you evidently are. It doesn't make anyone toxic but your teasing isn't all that kind either.

People have been pretty polite BTL IMO. JC came agonisingly close a few times before, so it's disappointing for them. Besides, if you think this is toxic you should've seen the votes on previous shows. This is a kumbaya sesh by comparison.

He's been in loads to be fair. Was in a ton of movies. An Irish crime show called love/hate he was in the umbrella academy which lasted forever and was very popular. I guess that's not Hollywood but from what I've heard of Hollywood that's probably a good thing

I forgot about Umbrella Academy, that's true. I just expected him to be the next really, really big thing. Unfair on him because he's clearly been successful, but I thought he'd go absolutely supernova.

I think the thing that got to people most about Ramsey is he would lure people in with kindness and then turn on them. Joffery was horrible. But he was openly evil lol

This. I knew the poll closed today, but it didn’t say what time, so I checked it a few times during the day. I was so disappointed to see it get so close again at the last minute! Hopefully now that Misfits is off the poll, JC will win next time, nothing else on there came as close 🤞🏼
