It's Thursday, meant to be Misfits 😁 I'll happily take this though lol.

Kurt G

Wrong reaction… shouldn’t this be misfits

John

Can you upload misfits you've uploaded the wrong thing

Danny

Made me have to double check the date 😅

Jake Francis

Maybe hes doin this today and misfits tmro

Josh is playing games here ,he is clearly getting in to the mystery and misdirection of Jonathan Creek. He posted this in the early hours of Friday morning ,to try and trick us in to believing we were 24 hours ahead and it was already the early hours of Saturday morning. We just have to put together the clues and figure out his purpose.

John

I can see why you have no friends

Death Lego

I agree, it is a little creepy to marry someone you knew as a kid. Perhaps placed there narratively speaking, to bolster the idea of social morals, as well as to set up the resolution. For the purposes of accuracy not defence of the characters actions. It was stated that he left the country and came back when she had grown up. So the full idea of potential grooming is not as much a factor as such. Leaving the impression of the creepy original proposal. So it's maybe reflective to idea of a seedy persona behind a projected character to the public sorta deal.

Jake Francis

You're right, it's less about who did it and more about the complex methods as to how they do it, which is normally a lot more exciting to watch unfold rather than just guess who.

Michaela

Jonathan Creek a day early? I’m not complaining 😄 “Did you put a melon on my pillow with a knife in it?” 🤣 Can’t wait for next week’s episode, there’s some great comedy in it with a particular guest star (from an 80s British sitcom which you’ve reacted to) 😁 He looks very different (especially his hair), hopefully you’ll recognise him!

Ash Jeffries

A day early but no complaints from me! 😃 Solid series 1 episode, quite straightforward and definitely entertaining but if you are loving the show as much as this already, you're going to LOVE some of the future episodes! It gets more brilliant and clever as it goes along! 😃🙏

VEGGIE GAMER

Just about to watch, and super happy it is a day early (I needed this today, believe me XD), but just a quick note that I love it when Josh, in the first few episodes of a show, will sometimes get the title of the show slightly wrong! I remember "Hi guys, we are checking out more of 'The Bottom", and now we have "Hi guys, ware are checking out more of Jonathan's Creek". XD NOT a criticism! Just gives me a lil giggle every time! :)

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I know, me too! When he called it Jonathan's Creek I instantly thought of 'The Bottom' as well 😁

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Ah I love the next one, it's one of the ones that sticks in my mind the most from when I was younger :) that one and another one - I'll just say 'skeleton' my brother used to watch over and over.

Saul

'The Bottom' made more sense really, didn't it? As in, the absolute bottom of society and everything that comes with it.

VEGGIE GAMER

Again, it wasn't a criticism! XD In fact some of the episode titles played on that fact it is 'Bottom' like 'S Up and 'S Out! XD (not to mention 'Gas', 'Smells', and 'Hole' XD)

Michaela

@Saul Bottom sounds better IMO 😁 Fun fact: Rik & Ade originally wanted to call it My Bottom, so that the BBC continuity announcer would have to say, “Now on BBC Two, My Bottom” 😆 And people would say things like, “Did you see My Bottom on TV last night?”

Michaela

I watched Black Canary again the other night…I can’t WAIT for Josh to watch that episode! It’s SO GOOD! Got quite a while yet and plenty of decent episodes in the lead-up of course 😁

Jake Francis

Yeah it's even been called Jonathan's Creek anytime it appeared in a poll lol

Ash Jeffries

Yes! To be honest, I'm Gideon with excitement for Black Canary! 😃😛😎 But yes, definitely some superb episodes before that, and after! 🙏

Saul

don't worry, i didn't think it was a criticism I'd forgotten that the episode titles had that connection - Bottom...'s Up, for example - so 'the bottom' wouldn't have worked as a title but they are the bottom of the pile in every respect, eddie and ritchie

Angel

Wow… I realise that I've only seen this episode once. Back in the days of analogue TV when you couldn't easily rewatch stuff. 1:06, I remember the story, the solution, and the funniest line of the episode. 3:11, I'm facepalming, seeing a clue so blatant that I'm extremely disappointed with my younger self for not getting it immediately. Of course, this is the standard response when rewatching a JC episode… there's about three times as many clues as you realised the first time through. But somehow seeing it in a reaction video makes it hit harder for me :p

Angel

7:45 … that speech sounds so rehearsed. It's amazing how much of this series seems so obvious when you watch it already knowing the solution. I'd love to see someone react to it a second time, because if it were me I'd be beating myself up over all the hints I missed.

Angel

10:48… How could anyone possibly miss that? The "how" is pretty much solved. Except that I missed it on first viewing, and I guess everybody else did too.

Angel

This show is a masterclass in "how did I miss that?"

Angel

45:35 … if you didn't get it yet, how could anyone miss this? Except… I didn't see it the first time. Rewatching any of these episodes, you're in for an incredible number of "how did I miss that?" moments, where it seems so obvious… I've never seen a detective show where the clues seem so obtuse on first watching, or where they're so obvious if you know the solution.
